Great location, great hotel in the past. On my last visit to this hotel, I ate dinner in the bar downstairs. It was very ... enjoyable. It had live music and was packed with an older crowd. This visit the bar had LOUD music [...]. I stayed less than 1 minute, went back to my room and ordered room service, which was quite good. One other point, there seemed to be quite a few undesirables frequenting the lobby area.

Bellevue square and The bravern mall
--Surfman, Miami, FL Oct 27, 2009
Great place to stay for a weekend shopping trip. the parking was a little confusing though. I ended up paying for valet but then found out that the level five parking was open. when I checked in they didn't let me know how many levels there was and what exactly was free parking. so, after circling three levels of parking with many other cars I gave up and paid for valet.

There's not very many family frendly restaurants in the area. There's a Wendy's and a Red Robin and the rest are more on the spendy side..

Stayed at the Bellevue Hyatt while in town for some Mariners' games. Very easy twenty minute drive to SAFECO Field. Located ... next to high-dig shopping mall (Nieman Marcus, etc.)and restaurants, the hotel has large quiet rooms at half the price you would spend for the same hotel in downtown Seattle. I would stay again.

This was one of the nicest hotels that we have stayed in. The decor was lovely to look at, the personnel were friendly, and ... we would come back if we were in the area again. The coffee was good but a free breakfast would be better. I am sure we would have enjoyed the pool, etc.,but we just ran out of time.

Great Location
ballin on a budget!! Aug 23, 2009
We traveled by car to attend a wedding and vacation. The price and location of the hotel is why we chose to stay here. Its a ... good looking hotel from the lobby to the rooms. A short walk can get you to pretty much everything in Downtown Bellevue whether its the mall or restaurants and Seattle is only a 15 minute drive across the bridge. Orbitz was definitely the better deal over the other travel websites. The only negative thing I would say about the hotel is I called the hotel and advised the female employee at reservations that I would be driving up from southern California and would be arriving sometime after 1am on Friday morning. I asked her if I would need to book the room for Thursday or would I be able to check in early. She told me that I would be able to check in early for Friday and the Thursday room would not be necessary. When I arrived Friday morning after 1am after driving for 18 hours I was told by the front desk that I could not check in until 3pm. When I told the people at the front desk that an employee in reservations advised that an early check in was possible they asked what her name was. Of course I couldn't remember and they said that a check in at that time would need a Thursday room purchase at $299.99 a night. Without having to ask or argue with the desk staff for a better rate, they reduced the room rate to $99.00 and gave me free parking for that night.

We stayed here for convenience and certainly the price was very reasonable. Free parking on the weekend is a big plus. The ... staff was very friendly. The rooms were not up to the usual Hyatt standard: a safe and a small fridge standing on the floor, a blanket box on top of the built-in furniture, dirty grout in the shower, a noisy HVAC system. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable.
