This was our second time staying here. We love the location, which is near many restaurants and only blocks from Disney. We ... also love having separate bedrooms from the kids for the price of a typical hotel room. Only our gripe this time around was absent maintenance. We had a clogged tub drain in the master bath. I notified the front desk, but never had the problem fixed before we left. It wasn't a huge issue, though. We just showered in the other bathroom.

Ok but nothing special

First, cannot beat the location. Just minutes to everything. Book a long weekend stay, Thursday to Monday. Staff needs a ... little lesson on service, took almost an hour to have pool towels delivered to the room, and three phone calls to the front desk. Went to the front desk for the towels and they said they had to deliver them....NO MAID SERVICE at all. No replenishment on towels, coffee, etc. It;s just not offered. BUT they charge you an extra $50 to have your room cleaned when you check out. Pools were nice, grounds were nice. Rooms were ok, typical old florida. Clean with a hint of mustiness that quickly aired out with the air on. Walking distance to several restaurants, and easy highway access for the other parks, etc. Would stay again, but would have to be competitive on the price, as it is no different than a low budget hotel chain.

Love to travel Jul 22, 2009
Overall pleased with our stay at Blue Tree Resort but did miss not having laundry in the unit. Laundry facilities onsite do ... not provide a change machine which is definitely an incovenience for travelers. It would be helpful if staff would at least let their customers know this up front so travelers would go to the laundry facility prepared! Garbage disposal in very poor repair. Refrigerator noisy. Master Bedroom closet door very hard to open and close.

SIMPLY THE BEST
MOM on a BUDGET Jul 14, 2009
The location was 2 lights away to one of the disney entrances. Less than 15 minutes to walmart. I would love to go back and ... take part in the many activities the resort has planned. There were 4 pools so they were never overcrowded. Lots of families there, but no noise. The staff in the childrens play area was great.Checkin was simple and sweet. They have safe deposit boxes and ticket sales for the park in the resort lobby. Don't take my word try the place yourself.

Well located hotel

It's a quiet hotel with nice pools and friendly staff. The room is clean and has plenty of space and well equiped. However ... the beds are not as expected for a 3 star hotel. I slept bad. :( Other than that the location is great; very close to the premium outlets and attractions. :)

No water
saqnak Jun 9, 2009
The hotel is a converted aparment complex, so the rooms have plenty of space compared to standard hotel rooms. No regular ... housekeeping. Also the water had to be turned off for some problem, and the hotel did not allow us to change rooms. We had to get ready for a wedding and they only offered us a new room to get ready in and then we had to go back to our room. I thought that this should have been taken care of better or some sort of compensation given.

Great Room for Great Price!
Terrible Two's Survivor May 26, 2009
The location was perfect for our trip to SeaWorld. And as far as places to eat, not hard finding anything, but the resort ... doesn't provide hardly any menus or maps of restaraunts in the immediate area. The kitchen was spotless and provided ample dishes, silverware and such to cook a meal for a family of 4. And the only other negative is that their version of a Queen sized bed is more like a small full size instead, but the pullout sofa bed helped. Would definitely consider staying here again next time I'm in the area.
Traveler type: Family
Dining choices are a short drive off of 535, but the resort doesn't give you any help in that area as far as menus or even a map with what's where. They do provide directions to the closest Winn Dixie and Walmart, but besides that you're on your own.

Good price for a comfortable, clean, roomy condo. It has all of the basics of a typical Orlando time-share, with a great ... location. All things Disney are just around the corner. Numerous family-friendly restaurants surround the area, while avoiding the tourist trappings of International Drive. I would definitely stay there again!

Ric - Traveling Salesman May 2, 2009
One of the best room rates in Orlando for a business function and it was a condo! Great for vacation as well - which is why I ... checked it out. Close to all Disney, Universal, etc. attractions with a full kitchen, washer/dryer!, livingroom, bedroom (tons of storage) and a little screened in porch as well (great for those who smoke). I would come back here for business or a family vacation any time - especially if the rates stay as favorable as they were this past April!

I would stay her again and for anyon visiting the Orlando are for Disney it is next to downtown disney 2 lights away so you ... can't beat location. also the rooms were taken care of. It did take a while to check in which does happen I would stay again and then see if the check in was a 1 time event for being slow. Room was not ready at 4:30 when check in was 4 and I was 30 min early. again I would stay at the same place in the future.

The hotel had great beds. On some vacations after a long day at a theme park it is hard to relax and fall asleep due to bad ... beds. This was not a problem for us. As soon as your head hit the pillow it was lights out. The location was great. It was in the middle of everything yet far enough away so you do not have to deal with all the trafic of other hotels. It is a great value and you get your monies worth.
