Best Hotel at a bargain price

Would recommend to a friend!

Best hotel. Its so cheap and offers so much. It is an older hotel, but the rooms are spotless. Its an indoor hotel w/ ... elevators. They have a great indoor pool and bar and buffet restaurant. When I got there at 11pm, they had 2 for 1 drinks and it was quite pack w/ everyone watching the game. It was chilly that night and thats where the indoor pools is great. The kids were swimming on a cold night. I always stay at this hotel, especially now since i tried the other hotels that are comparable and offer none of these things... If it cost a little more, its worth the price since they offer the bar, food and its indoors. Its one mile from the entrance of disney. Can't get any closer than that at a steal price per night...

we enjoyed sitting around the pool and relaxing. we wished the outside pool bar was opened earlier in the day. we were ... surprized at the room for what we paid. we have already recomended this hotel to family who are traveling to fl. in december

Cheap, room poor food & amenites good

The Hotel was near Disney. The room was a fair size bedding was torn and the rug was wet like a pipe was leaking from below, ... and no one noticed this when the room was prepared.

poor. service @ buffet was bad, no plates , I had to wait @ 30 minutes for an available table. I request a remote control for ... my tv and took they 2 hours to bring it(I ask twice for it). i like to drink coffee in am but after the fist morning they did not replace my regular coffee in my room(they only left decaf). Rooms need a microwave.

There was an additional charges (Resort fee) of 10 dollar on top of the room charges. These charges were not highlighted ... during booking or check-in time.

This was a great place to stop and rest. I was impressed that this hotel offerred a variety of activities for all age ... groups. As far as the location of the hotel, it is very close to shopping and dining facilities as well as to Disney World. Thanks for a peaceful nights rest.

We had an hour waiting in line to check in and that was alittle much after driving for 2 hours to get there. We were also ... disappointed with the Karaoke DJ they didn't provide an enjoyable entertaining evening either of the two nights we stayed. I feel that a more experienced DJ would improve the atmosphere within the hotel. The hotel should consider this because guests would prefer to spend there evening having fun and spending their money right where they are staying.

Exelent for the price and very clean. I would recommend these to everyone. The clorox odors in the lobby was strong but I ... know that was for the pool inside.

We saw this great price on orbitz and expected quality from a brand like Ramada. When checking in there was a lineup of ... people complaining---shoulda been forewarned. I asked to make sure that there would be no added fees to our rooms as other people were complaining and the front desk person assured us we werte fully prepaid. Upon checkout the receptionest told us there was an additional $10 charge. When I complained to a 'manager' I was told the person misinformed me and that was why they imprinted my charge card. They had Karoke that was very load and overpowering in our rooms. I was told I should have fully read their website. Nowhere did it list a time (it was until 10:30 PM nor that it could be heard throu their thin walls. Also the plumbing had a constat flush every 5-10 minutes---but I was told I didn't complain enough. The front desk staff is rude and sometimes hard to locate. Their free internet computer printer never worked---nor did they care. STAY AWAY FROM THE RAMADA BRAND NEAR DISNEY.

The room was great, it had a semi-seperate room for the children. The view from the 'inside' rooms is very nice, overlooks ... the pool and dining area. The outdoor pool is also great. The biggest problem... the overwhelming smell of chlorine! I would strongly recommend (as an A/C tech. and somewhat knowledgeable about airflow) a much better system of airflow. Greater fresh air makeup and greater exhaust to get the odor out. It is VERY possible, with the way the roof panels are fixed. It is a nice hotel!

We selected Ramada over a less expensive brand because we didn't want any surprises. We checked in around 8 p.m. where ... nothing was said about any additional fees (we paid online). We returned to our room after midnight. When I awoke at 7 am, I found a paper slipped under the door, stating we owed $10, for a Resort fee. I asked for the manager, who was very rude, telling me that the hotel was allowed to charge that, as it was on their website. I stated that it was NOT on Orbitz, nor was it even mentioned when I checked in!!! I asked why this was slipped under my door in the middle of the night, she said it was my receipt. IT WAS NOT--it was a bill for $10, slipped under my door in the middle of the night!!! As we were checking out, they charged another couple an additional $12. The husband (senior citizens) asked if this was an additional tax, which was not posted. The clerk stated, no, it was a "Hotel Fee". BOTTOM LINE, the $39 dollar price is a SCAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! STAY AWAY!!!!!!!! PS I will alert the Florida Division of Hotels and Restaurants, as many Broward County teachers, administrators and staff as possible, family and friends. That $10 charge will cost Ramada a lot more in lost revenue (we travel a lot--we will never stay at Ramada again!).

Would recommend to a friend!

This was a large room. There were two beds, a night stand, a tv stand with a mini fridge/freezer to use in it (not a mini ... bar), a large bathroom, and a good size window (that looked at the parking lot). However, the hotel indoor pool area is under construction. There is construction equipment all over. The only pool open is the outdoor pool. The indoor pool and hot tub are completely unuseable at this time and it looks like it will be for a while. This hotel is close to Walt Disney World and easy to find.

Check in was handle very well. The room, clean and comfortable. The only problem, we could not use inside pool or pizzaq. ... Other than that nice area and the staff we were fronted with were great.

Ramada was under construction. They had neither. In door pool not working. There was a $10.00 resort fee per night. ... Room had bugs, iron burns on the carpet. This is much different than when I stayed here a year or so ago. Then it was a resort all activities going on. No food court, small coffee shop closed. I will never stay here again!

The Ramada Maingate West Kissimmee was under construction, and under-staffed, the indoor-pool and Spa were closed, it took ... almost an hour to check-in as there were 15 people in-line and only one hotel clerk at the desk. We had to navigate around construction to get to our room and car. The laundry staff was very helpful in getting me an extra blanket and towels when we found the outdoor pool behind the laundry. The room was spacious enough and very comfortable, but the aminities were much to be desired.

Rooms OK- Eat Someplace else!!!

HOTEL IS BEING RENOVATED. Indoor pool is out of commission and noise level is high. Check in was relatively painless. Only ... complaint was that we were told we were getting a renovated room which turned out not to be true. Bunk bed frame was split in half and toilet would not flush (my son & husband actually used the public restroom in lobby area instead). Plus, buffet breakfast is NOT WORTH THE PRICE. IHOP is nearby go there instead. We stayed for one night only. The best thing about the hotel is its location- it is perfect for Disney Parks...

The inside pool was under construction. The lady at the front desk was rude(we checked in at midnight). We found a roach in ... our room. Inside the room they do not clean just make the beds. i was a disaster
