We were there for a wedding and stayed 2 nights. The staff was rude during check in and others in our party had a difficult ... time with reservations. There was confusio; the staff said reservations were cancelled when in fact no one called to cancel. The staff was not professional. The room was clean, but walls are thin. You can definitely hear neighbors. The bed was comfortable, though.

The hotel was right off the freeway, so it made it easy to find. Plus, it was in a very quite locaton. This was our second ... visit, but not our last!

We just needed a hotel to stay at during our driving trip, so as long as we were able to get a good night's sleep, we were ... happy. This hotel was conveniently located right off the 101 freeway and the beds were comfortable. The room was spacious had the essentials we needed. Overall, it was a good stay and we left very satisfied!

Not a Good First Experience!

The Holiday Inn San Jose-Silicon Valley is an older hotel that is not within walking distance of a good meal..morning,noon or ... night. The location is fairly quiet but the rooms are nothing to write home about. Hotel maps to dining facilities was poor. The day we arrived it was almost 11:00 PM before we got into a room that didn't have ants or all of the lights worked.

When I arrived I found that in room high speed internet was out. Since most of the work for business was on my laptop and ... proprietary the business center wasn't an option. The network was down for the 1st three days out of four of my stay which caused me to have to extend my hours with my customer in oder to complete the work I had to do on my machine.

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. Excellant service at the hotel and dinning room. However, the breakfast on both days were ... so- so. Kinda dry and overcooked(hash browns,choriso & meats). However, the taste was OK. They just need to know when to take it OFF the stove. Otherwise, it's OK.

I spent one night here and it was a pleasant surprise. Very clean rooms and the staff was professional and friendly. ... Usually Holiday Inns are a gamble, not this one. There is a great steakhouse in the complex. Room service was fast and the food was pretty good. I am definitely going to stay there again.

The Holiday Inn San Jose/Silicon Valley gave us a great deal on our room. Everything is quiet and clean. Freeway access ... couldn't be easier. I didn't like the remote location when I was seized by the impulse to seek out coffee and dining venues. But then again, getting off the road and finding this place in the middle of the night was a no-brainer.

For the kids I recommend the San Jose Children's Discovery Museum.
