Deteriorating Hotel...

It was a constant hassle trying to establish and maintain an internet connection. The rooms are hardwired LAN, not Wi-Fi. But ... the lobby is Wi-Fi. Some of the room modems are junk.[...]once you're connected, it is still intermittently on and off, on and off. Such a hassle! ===Another grief in the hotel is the night-time desk staff. [...] All together, it took twenty minutes to get to the room after checking in, what with a bad key card, and bad directions.===Oh, and forget about your own gratuity on the breakfast tab. Whatever you enter, more or less than $2 on a $10 tab, the accounting system ignores it and charges you an automatic $2 on your $10 breakfast bill.====The breakfast is not bad, but not worth $10 (at least in my estimation). It's the same limited buffet you get for free elsewhere. A good thing, though, is that kids eat free. But beware, teenagers are not considered kids.

We travelled to Washington DC for a bar mitzvah. This hotel room did not have a microwave but one was provided upon request. ...

We were comfortable as a family at this property. The kids enjoyed a dip in the pool and the continental breakfast suited ... our needs the next morning. As we were attending a family reunion nearby, we didn't spend much time at the property, but the location for our purposes was excellent, the room was comfortable and clean, and the pool was a welcome sight between family functions. All in all, a very pleasant experience for all uf us.
