Not bad for the price. Stayed overnight since the hotel was hosting an exam for work in the morning. Room was small, but ... very clean and quiet. Check-in was a breeze, staff was friendly. Location is next door to a Carl's Jr and across from Sizzler, Ralphs supermarket, and a bunch of other eateries. Bed was too firm, but pillows were plush. Amenities were inconvenient (i.e. ice machine was in a different wing). $5 seems unnecessary for parking in the lot; it didn't seem any more secure than parking on a side street. Overall, a pleasant stay.

Very friendly and efficient staff. The airport shuttle was a God-send and the room was clean and quiet. Dinner in the ... lounge was tasty, well prepared and inexpensive. I can see why many people on the shuttle were airline staff. They know a good thing when they find it. Very latino in decor and amenities so it was quite a change from what we see here in Montana. The little patios outside with benches, flowers and fountains were nice on a winter's evening. One even had a lit fireplace in the corner. Overall, I liked it a lot and will go back when the need arises.

My hotel room was on the fourth floor in the main building. It had a balcony with table and chairs and was shaded by a ... beautiful tree which created amazing privacy. It was a very quiet and restful place to stay. The other things I liked about the Haciendo were the convenience of walking to restuarants, shops, the wonderful neigborhood area behind the hotel for morning walks, and the spacious lobby and adjoining courtyard to sit and relax.

We stayed there for 3 nights, my father was a good customer in the 90's for more than 10 years and recommended it. The staff ... was always friendly, the food was pretty decent, but the hotel lacks character, its getting dated, we were told its been under renovation, the rooms are very clean though...We would go back hoping at least the same srvice.

I was disapointed in the rooms on our first stay, on our return after we requested to stay in the newer wing the rooms were ... much better. When I booked the rooms with you I didn't know there would be a very old section. But I found out the hard way.

we arrived 15 minutes early, we retrieved a parking pass, then at 2 pm check in time the room was not ready till 2:45 pm we ... arrived early to be sure we would have our room on time, and they offered no alternative room. Poor communication skills. The parking is awful it is quite a distance from the lobby. More than a city block. You have to find a place to park on the street, get your pass then drive your car to parking lot.

One night at the Hacienda

We stayed just one night after flying to LA from Paris, France, and had an early morning flight to Hawaii, where we live. So ... we were very tired and needed a comfortable place to sleep close to LAX. The Hacienda fit the bill very nicely. The food in the restaurant was very good and very reasonably priced and it opens at 5:00 a.m. The complimentary shuttle to LAX runs 24 hours.

great location, but that was about it. Staff did not know how to explain things, not very friendly. they close the pool at ... sunset, which i think is too early...we came back to the hotel shortly after sunset, and we did not even get to see the pool. We stayed on the 7th floor, and all the windows in the hallway were open without any screens. we did not have children with us, but it can be a safety issue when small children are around. service was not good as well at their restaurant. we decided not to come back here again. for the price we paid for our room, i was expecting much more, and I have stayed at the hotels where they have better service for much more reasonable prices.

Besides Mariposa's on site, a Sizzler's and a Starbucks were right across the street. A Ralph's grocery store was across the street also if one wanted to buy some snacks for the hotel. A Carl's and IHOP were just up the street a few blocks, too.

I did my research for dining and nightlife online with a City Search and we were pleased with the atmosphere, prices and quality we found. We went to a Cuban restaurant with Live music near by, and later to The Garter in Venice Beach for dancing. It was fun.

If you have a mini fridge in your room, and are trying to save some dough, go across the street and buy some stuff at the Ralph's supermarket for breakfast or a midnight snack. Also, there are many places to get a quick bite to eat in the same shopping center that are opened pretty late. Dont eat at the Stick and Stein a block down though. That place has horrible food, service was not that great and is filled to the brim with screaming kids playing on the pool tables!!! Yikes!
