Third time we have stayed here. Great place to be! One minute walk to the Arch, shopping and the baseball stadium. The ... free happy hour and super breakfast were added benefits. My husband, dog and I stopped in St. Louis for one night as we traveled across the country. We stayed in dog-friendly hotels ... across the country after driving all day, everyday. The staff at this hotel were so friendly! The hotel provides free coffee, soft drinks and popcorn in the lobby until 10pm. They also serve appetizers and drinks at the bar from 5:30-7pm. The lobby is beautiful and comfortable, but dogs are not allowed in the lobby. Our room was very clean and comfortable. The decor was very nice and we had a view of the St. Louis Arch!

Beautiful room
jpsmom97 Oct 6, 2009
The room was beautiful and very clean. We were at the end of the hall, so it was really quiet. My son went swimming and said ... the pool and hot tub were great. The breakfast was fantatstic! Only complaint, the desk clerk that checked us in didn't give me a parking ticket validation, so after we checked out we had to go back and get it or I would have had to pay an extra $15 to get out of the garage. Overall, a wonderful stay.

Great location and value
WADramamom Aug 24, 2009
We spent one night in this hotel because of the proximity to the Arch and Museum of Westward Expansion. My husband is unable ... to walk long distances. We were very pleased that it was within walking distance as promised, and also across the street from the historic courthouse where the Dred Scott case originated. The large hotel lobby is what I picture when I imagine St. Louis at the turn of the century. Very charming victorian. Lots of small tables and sitting areas make it very welcoming. We were given three free drinks each during happy hour in the lobby and free hot breakfast was very good. Real scrambled eggs and pancakes. All the usual breakfast fare, plus hot biscuits with gravy. The rooms are a bit small, but comfortable bed and pillows. Great flat screen TV and the best wireless internet connection of any hotel I've ever been in. We had all boxes of strength and we were on the 7th floor! There are two restaurants in the hotel. One expensive and one reasonable (burgers and sandwiches). Parking additional $15, but right under the hotel and in and out privileges. Probably among the cleanest I've been in. All personnel were very friendly, professional, and helpful. I would definitely stay there again.

Fabulous Stay
EmptyNesters Jul 25, 2009
We were visiting St. Louis for a couple of days and were debating on which hotel to stay in. There are a lot to choose ... from. The close location to the Arch helped us pick the Drury Plaza at first, but this visit will determine where we stay in the future, not only in St. Louis, but where ever we vacation, if there is a Drury hotel in the area. The hot breakfast was a winner for both of us. The free popcorn at night won my wife over. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We have a new place to stay on vacation.

Drury Plaza at the St. Louis Arch
C. Haynie Jul 9, 2009
This hotel is right across from the St. Louis Arch. It was a short walk. There are great things to see at the Jefferson ... Memorial area where the Arch is. The pool is nice, but small. There are two hot tubs and a fitness room. The elevator system was a little strange. I was sad to have to pay for parking. The room was great, the staff was great, and the breakfast was exceptional!

Great location and good family hotel
bill Jul 1, 2009
We were in downtown St. Louis for a Cardinals game and to visit the Arch. This hotel has the best location of all downtown ... St. Louis hotels. It's one block from the Arch and one block from Busch Stadium, with free breakfast, a pool, and reasonably priced parking. Its furnishings are not as deluxe as some of the other big-name downtown hotels, so if you're a high-end business traveler or if you're a couple out for a romantic weekend this might not be the place for you, but it's ideal for a family on vacation.

Douglas Nov 13, 2008
Drury Plaza St. Louis Arch was in a good location for my trip (near the Arch and downtown hotels), but not much beyond the ... nice lobby and the staff make this a hotel I'd return to. The guest room was plain, dark, big but empty and with a poor layout. There were few in-room amenities for this price (with exception of free Internet access). The price was not so much lower than the nearby luxury properties yet the comfort difference was stark.

The Drury Plaza St. Louis Arch Hotel was great. The location couldn't be more ideal, just across the street from the Arch. ... We had our small dogs with us and there were plenty of grassy parks to walk them. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Best of all was the comfort of the room. Excellent bedding and downtown view, I highly recommend. The breakfast buffet wasn't impressive but it was free!
