Nice Location near the Arch & a $6 Cab Ride to Lacleades Landing. Staff was very helpful & accommodating. Marble Baths, ... Flat Screen TV, Nice Linens, Clean & Well-Maintained Pool/Whirlpool Facility and a Warm Main Lobby made me decide this Hotel to be a good value. A Secure & Easily Accessible Parking Facility should be noted as well. If I visit St. Louis again, I will definitely stay here.

A $6 Cab Ride to LaCleades Landing is a must! Good Bars (Big Bang & Big Daddy notably) & Restaurants (The Drunken Fish) added to a great weekend... There is a stretch of establishments on Washington Ave that is worth frequenting.

Weekend Gateaway to St. Louis
Family on a weekend gateaway. Jan 19, 2010
This was an excellent hotel to stay at. Below are 5 reasons why you should stay at this hotel: 1) Arch was 5 minutes walk ... from the hotel. Depending on the room you are able to get, you may also have a great view of the arch from your room. 2) You get 3 free beers/wines per person. Can't beat that. Also sodas / popcorn are free all day. 3) There are several restaurants in walking distance. You are also very close to almost everything in downtown. 4) Staff is very friendly. They were eager to help and do whatever they can to make your stay pleasant. 5) Room was excellent. It was clean, had big flat screen tv with HD channels, bathroom was clean and had continuous hot water unlike other hotels I have stayed at. They also have an indoor pool with 2 big size hot tubs. My 5 year old loves pool so this came in very handy.

STudy a valid map of downtown before you get there. Mapquest is not helpful. Check with the friendly staff for recommendations of close varied dining! Lots of one way streets as in any downtown. Hotel dining, Max & ERma's was extremely friendly and great food! Did not chose the high end restaurant for late dining, too pricey and too heavy!

The Best of Downtown St. Louis!
kandmtoo Dec 4, 2009
Secured parking was a little difficult at first - needed little more explanation at front desk, but worth the lowest cost for ... area hotels! Staff was very friendly and helpful. Lobby was full of ambiance and a wonderful area for the breakfast, which was also wonderful. We were at a late afternoon event downtown, so we were unable to use the complimentary 'happy hour'. We will chose this again, hands down!

This was an excellent place to stay in St. Louis- convenient to the Arch and Leclede Landing (where there are tons of ... restaurants and bars). Parking wasn't free ($15/night), but at least there was parking available. All the freebies (breakfast, wireless, happy hour, popcorn and sodas in the afternoon) were incredible! I would definitely recommend staying here!

My husband, dog and I stopped in St. Louis for one night as we traveled across the country. We stayed in dog-friendly hotels ... across the country after driving all day, everyday. The staff at this hotel were so friendly! The hotel provides free coffee, soft drinks and popcorn in the lobby until 10pm. They also serve appetizers and drinks at the bar from 5:30-7pm. The lobby is beautiful and comfortable, but dogs are not allowed in the lobby. Our room was very clean and comfortable. The decor was very nice and we had a view of the St. Louis Arch!

Beautiful room
jpsmom97 Oct 6, 2009
The room was beautiful and very clean. We were at the end of the hall, so it was really quiet. My son went swimming and said ... the pool and hot tub were great. The breakfast was fantatstic! Only complaint, the desk clerk that checked us in didn't give me a parking ticket validation, so after we checked out we had to go back and get it or I would have had to pay an extra $15 to get out of the garage. Overall, a wonderful stay.
