The Cookie is not Worth The Money
Cookie Eater Dec 10, 2009
I'm not a big compaliner but I have to say that for the money it was definitley not worth it. I spent the extra to get a nice ... place and it was no nicer than the LaQuinta down the road (except for the cookie, it was delicious). It was freezing cold everywhere in the hotel except under the covers. The room was small and outdated and someone had tried to fix the door from rubbing the floor by cutting it short about 1.5 inches from the sill. Light and noise came in all night. I was also in the 6000 wing which is about a mile from the reception desk. The bar was really overpriced too. But the cookie was awesome. Did I say the cookie was awesome?

Go across the street to Denny's or Dave's Diner for breakfast. The in-house buffet is not worth the money. Also, take the bus downtown. It isn't super fast, but it's cheap. Bus drivers are phenomenal.

Comfy hotel
Cantravel Nov 10, 2009
Large 2 queen bed room with comfy beds. Large flat screen tv. Quiet room but we were as far as you can get from the front ... desk. Really we were sent on the most confusing hunt for our room. Front desk staff was never warm and cheerful but I guess they think handing over warm cookies will cure all and mostly it does! Actually the odd layout of the hotel tends to make allies of hotel guests and we met and talked to strangers because of it. We were in town for an audition for my college age daughter so chose hotel for convenience only. Wouldn't stay if I was visiting to see Seattle. Room service was prompt and good. Shuttle service to airport and back was fast and efficient at 10 pm and 4 am.

Not Sleepless in Seattle
Porzia Oct 28, 2009
I used the computer station every day and was very grateful to have it. The check-in staff were very friendly and helpful. ... John, the conceirge, was terrific. When I lost my jacket and went to the front desk to inquire, the clerk didn't even acknowledge me. He simply tilted his head toward the security agent who was standing nearby. No one could find it for me, but oddly, it was found a couple of hours later when my male friend inquired. And it was right behind the front counter all the time. The clerk was just too lazy to look for a woman. The food served at the conference I attended was the worst I've had in a long time and the worst ever of the 4 conferences I attended. The Friday night banquet was particularly putrid. It's hard to give me too much pepper but you managed with the steak. All the banquet food was far too salty.

OH MY GOSH!
lilshephrd Aug 28, 2009
When we got to the Hotel they gave us a handicap room. We didnt need one. It had a pocket door for the bathroom that wouldn't ... open. The Maintenance man came, he tried to fix it. While he was working on the door he was radioed by someone about an emergancy they said it looked like a murder. So he rushed off and told us to call the front desk and ask for a different room. We did call and ask, they brought us keys for the room across the hall. It wasn't clean so when I saw the Maint.Man across the hall again I asked him if he could call housekeeping to come and clean the room. He came in to look and said yes he would and he was sorry it was dirty. The staff were very nice. I thought the front desk clerks were a little too posh acting,(snobs). The hotel is not that first rate for the air of the front desk,(attitude). Services don't match the attitude. Its just a huge complex. I wouldnt recommend it to anyone. There are so many other Hotels by the airport to choose from for the same price or more. I did like the parking security at this Hotel though. Security Rates high.

Hard to Please Jun 24, 2009
Paid minimul fee for a room upgrade. This upgrade allowed us to switch from a regular room on a wing of the hotel up to the ... penthouse suites floor in the tower. I requested and received a room with a view of Mt. Rainier. However, it was a cloudy day and should have requested a view of Seatac airport. Overall a very pleasand experience. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to my friends or family.
