Bellman spent 15 minutes with us describing where to eat and shop like a native, very helpful and friendly. But - We were not ... informed the htoel was in the midst of a mojor remodeling, room was ordinary and definitely needed a remodeling. Not up to the Mandarin standard we expected.

There are many other affordable alternatives to dine in case one doesn't want to eat fine dining the entire time. Take a bit of a walk across the street to Lucky Plaza and try their Asian foodcourt. If you want a central location and like to shop for super duper brand names, then this is the hotel for you.

You should stay here...

Despite room service being rather expensive, this hotel has a great location, excellent customer service, and you can't beat ... the views and the food up at the Chatterbox during their morning brunch(revolving restaurant on the 39th floor). This hotel is very accommodating.

Excellent Hotel with Perfect service
Weddingwalla Apr 23, 2009
First impressions count. With so many welcoming staff greeting you on arrival you feel very much as ease. We arrived early ... 11am but check in was at 3pm, the staff simply apologised that our rooms were not available and as we had a long haul flight from the uk they simply upgraded us free of charge to their luxurious executive suites so that we could rest immediately. The service ewas great with only down point being that their swimming pool was out of use due to current refurbishments at the hotel. But they offered another hotel where we could go swimming and even offered to pay for any transport cost incurred for our travel. The view from our rooms of the city was the best and having breakfast in the hotel top revolving restruat was even better. As a family we were very much impressed.

The hotel central location means you are only minutes away from lrt / mrt service. The tourist visitor centre is accross the road and so many tourist bus services available. You will need a good 10 days to visit all the shopping malls around this hotel and plenty of money.

Not Impressed
Vegas traveler Mar 3, 2009
Hotel was well located. I was extremely disappointed with the lobby and the food & beverage options. I never found the ... in-room coffee until I was leaving as it was hidden in a flip-top type desk. Room service menu was poor. Cable TV was very limited on the number of channels. Construction noise was very intrusive at times and we even had power interruptions.
