Friendly folks and a clean room

It doesn't take much to make me happy. If the place is well kept and clean then I'm happy. I was quite pleased with the ... cleanliness. The continental breakfast had a good selection. A newspaper at your door each morning. Even if you didn't bring your laptop, there are computers with internet access available for guests in a room near the front desk. Even a printer is available which we used to print our airline boarding passes for the trip home. Only minutes from the airport too. There is a family restaurant next door. The food is good and the place is clean. Next time I'm in Seattle, I'll stay there again.

Parking Nightmare

The hotel was convenienly located for our vacation. There's a Shari's restaurant in the same center as the hotel, with a ... coffee shop just across the street. The biggest problem with the Best Western Plaza on the Green was the parking. The hotel is attached to a small strip mall, which includes a very popular bar. On both Friday and Saturday nights, you had to circle the lot like a vulture, waiting for a parking spot to become available. When we asked the clerk where we were supposed to park under these conditions, he replied it's not my problem if there's a few people out tonight enjoying their neighborhood bar. Don't get angry with me. Just do what everyone does.....drive around until you see someone leave and hope you can get the the parking stall before someone else does. In our opinion, the parking situation wasn't acceptable. There are only a few parking spaces labeled for hotel guests only, but I observed several bar patrons using them as well.

1. There is a family style restaurant right next to the hotel. 2. Attractions in Seattle are fairly convenient - just a ways on the interstate.

Great Hotel, Great Service!

This hotel exceeded my expectations. The room was large and the bed comfortable. Maid service was excellent. Amenities were ... available as needed. I appreciated having free internet access and a wonderful continental breakfast. The back side of the hotel has a beautiful view overlooking the golf course. There was a family restaurant right next to the hotel, and it was also convenient by highway to downtown Seattle. (The only negative comment I could make would be that there is only one ice machine, and it's on the second floor.) I would definitely stay here again!

Bad Experience at Best Western.

I never met any hotel that the employee is placing tip basket in the breakfast room and the breakfast was so bad. I went ... from Boston to San Diego and from Florida to Vancouver,BC never saw any tip basket for breakfast. I am alergic to cigarette smell and the room that we got smell so bad, almost the whole night was like nightmare because the hotel was fully book I could not change room.

Don't arrive late!

We arrived after midnight due to flight delays. We recieved the last room. It was previously a smoking room and was now ... designated a non-smoking room. The hotel had done nothing except change the designation. The room smelled as bad as it possibly could. It was intolerable to a non-smoker as soon as the door opened. The rather smarmy desk clerk said there were no other options and all the rooms in town were booked. We didn't believe him and went to the hotel next door. They set us up in a perfectly tolerable non-smoking room in minutes. The next day the manager explained that they were remodeling all the smoking rooms soon and he was at least apologetic. This may end up a nice place to stay soon, but don't arrive late.

The Best Western Plaza by the Green had a great breakfast...a real plus when traveling with children! The view over the golf ... course was relaxing and my children were enchanted by the ducks!
