Great value and great location.

We have stayed here quite a few times and are always please with the staff and especially the great full service breakfast ... and evening free drink and food service. Our only objection is that it is somewhat out of the way from shopping and restaurants if you don't have a car (on this last trip).

The hotel is beautiful with greenery, waterfalls, etc. It feels restful just entering the doors. The staff was very ... helpful and the rooms were nice for the money. The only problems were a few surprise charges like internet and bottled water. Otherwise, this place is great and the surrounding location is wonderful: lots of water and a JCC.

Check in was a breeze. Close to areas in Marin. Room was beautiful and very clean. Will stay again at 110.00 a night. ... Great Bargain. Missed the Manager's reception but the hot breakfast was nice. Avoid the potatoes, too bland, stick with the pancakes.

Orbitz made this so easy. I used a competitor on my last vacation and it was a disaster. Orbitz completed my vacation for me ... in a sense, by making it easy and truly giving me what they advertised. The Embassy Suites was gorgeous, clean, and the staff and room were superb. I will stay there again.

The hotel is beautiful. The rooms are very spacious and super clean. I loved the cook to order breakfast in the morning, it ... was one of the best breakfasts I have ever had in a hotel. They even had espressos and lattes. I also liked the evening drinks and snacks. They include free alcoholic or non-alcoholic drinks and snacks every evening! A great location, close to San Francisco, Point Reyes Seashore and Napa/Sonoma Valley. The only thing I could not stand were the pillows. They were really awful. We tried to exchange them for different pillows, but they use one generic type of pillow for the entire hotel. Overall though, great hotel, would definitely recommend!

The hotel staff was over all very friendly and did waht they could to make our stay comfortable. The biggest problem, the ... room service dinner took over 1 1/2 hours, and the food was some of the worst I have ever had. Cold tomato and garlic soup, that was more like a bad pizza tomato paste. Greasy cold calamari. The breakfast, though is wonderful, the made to order eggs are great, as are the breafast cooks. Over all, this hotel is very nice

We found it sort of away from everything in San Rafael & San Anselmo. The location was picked for us as wedding guests. After ... we had been there awhile we got oriented and as we were seldom in a rush or trying to make business connections, it was no big problem.

From the outside of the hotel, I would never imagine that it was as wonderful on the inside. It was very charming. It ... reminded me of New Orleans Square at Disney Land. The staff was very courtious and helpful. I asked for directions to a couple places and they printed out complete directions for me. The morning breakfast was a very nice touch. Cooked to order. The only thing I would recommend is the charge for the wireless internet. They charge for a 24 hour period and it would have been helpful to have other options like by the hour etc. I would definitely recommend this hotel to any one. In fact we are planning a pleasure trip soon and will be staying at the Embassy Suites again.

Stayed in San Rafael and traveled to Point Reyes Station to visit one of our National Parks. The park was a beautiful 45 min. ... drive from the hotel. It was a relaxing place to come to after a day full of hiking and playing. With the great breakfast and the complimentary drinks, this hotel was less expensive then Motel 6!

One great hotel

This was a great hotel at a great price. It was clean and attractive with very good service. There is a farmer's market on ... Thursday night about a mile away that is loads of fun. Muir Woods was fantastic as well. San Rafael has a large variety of shops and restaurants although it appears to be a small town. This hotel is only about 15 minutes from downtown San Francsico so it is easy to get to where ever you want to go.

We were staying there prior to the Kim Martendale Antique Indian Arts Show and the location is perfect and the hotel staff ... was more than accommodating, even though we booked through Orbitz. My Hilton Honors didn't count unfortunately.

the Embassy Suite is a very good facility for families. I didnt like the fact the marin county fair was at the same ... time. not your fault of course. But the area of San Rafael I found very unfriendly hard to get around. Overall the stay at the suites were very good.
