A little pricey, but heh it's Washington

We wanted to do the tourist thing in Washington, and I didn't want to drive so we purposely picked a place where we could ... just park the car and travel by Metro. The hotel itself was very clean, nice and well maintained, and everyone on the staff was great. The Metro stop is about a half block away, but the hotel itself is fairly isolated. In the immediate vicinity there is a Five Guys and a Subway, but that's pretty much it as far as eating establishments are concerned. The hotel does have breakfast, lunch & dinner, but the dinner menu in particular is very limited. We mostly saw business travelers, a few tourists and practically no one with kids staying there.

Once you learn how to use it, the Metro gets you to the Smithsonian in about 12 minutes.

Excellent location, very close to Metro and Washington Nationals Stadium. Would definitely choose to stay here again. Very ... accomodating staff.

Very nice hotel!

Nice hotel. Clean and safe. Located near several cheap places to eat and a Starbucks. Very convenient to Metro Station ... which gives you All of Washington without driving! The hotel is geared more toward business travellers than families in my opinion, but its location near the Nationals Ballpark made it a great choice for my family. I would go back, although I wasn't fond of the breakfast. People were nice.

Up and Coming Area

The hotel was relatively new. It is very close to Nationals Park. The location is very convenient to the Metro. Although ... the are is heavily under construction, it seems very safe. Nearly everything in the area will be new within the next 12 to 18 months. The only negative is that the parking is very tight if you do not have a compact vehicle.

The Metro is within one block. When returning to the hotel on the Metro you should walk in the direction opposite the ballpark.

The Metro is within one block. When returning to the hotel on the Metro you should walk in the direction opposite the ballpark.
