We went for New Years. The staff was super friendly, the location was great (about a mile walk to the aquarium which was ... fantastic). We loved the free wine hour every night (champagne in honor of the new year)

The wine hour in the lobby is from 5-6 everynight. It's a great way to either bring wine up to your room to relax or meet other travelers! Very comfortable in the lobby with a beautiful fire.

This was the best hotel experience we have ever had. We aren't major travelers so this doesn't come from a plethora of ... experiences like some people but enough to say that people will have a really great experience at this hotel. Hot chocolate 2-4pm, wine 5-6pm, coffee/tea in the morning. Rooms are quite spacious and the decor is fab . The Galleria mall is attached so if you want to grab cheap eats at the food court, it is right there. It was so cold while we were visiting that this was a huge plus, plus an atm indoors.

Buy the Boston Go-card on line to get you into the museums and attractions at a fixed cost to save money. Boston Beantown trolley tour is included on this card and great for both an overview of Boston as well as drop off points to (Aquarium, Science Museum, etc)to coincide with using the T subway system. Lechmere/green line is the closest stop to Hotel Marlowe. These 'go cards' are a great money saver for any city you may visit as a tourist.

Museum of Science trip

Staff is extra friendly - sometimes seemed a little forced in the friendliness. Hotel was comfortable, really appreciated ... the robes to use. Very well stocked and accomodated rooms. Good size, clean. Easy walk to Cambridge Galleria for shopping and dinner, Museum of Science right across the street. Really appreciated the call from room service to warn that delivery was within the next couple of minutes. The only down side was on the morning of check out (which is posted for noon) was that starting at 8:30 a.m. housekeeping knocked on the door about every 20 minutes.

Very lovely hotel. Excellant staff. They really do cater to pets. Super clean, truly non smoking rooms. Well appointed. Would ... have liked to be able to close drapes over window. To many street lights left room like inside Fenway Park. Luckily I had safety pins to close drapes. Go figure

We attended a wedding in Boston and stayed at the Hotel Marlowe. The hotel was very elegant, but I thought the bar/restaurant ... workers were not as hospitable as they should have been, especially when a large group of us showed up to an empty bar, but they didn't want to let us sit at the tables.

Unbelievable find in middle of the city. We walked or hopped on the T @ Lechmere to everything: Bunker Hill, The ... Constitution, Fenway Park for Sox game, Museum of Science, etc. Galleria Mall right next door with unlimited restaurants and shopping. Loved the coffee every morning from the lobby. Rooms are beautiful. Staff personable and professional, they really cared about us.
