Terrible Hotel...Don't Stay Here...Ever!
mc31 Jun 1, 2009
The pictures on the website are nothing of what the rooms actually look like. The hotel is under major construction and as ... the rude hostess informed me upon my arrival, it has been under construction for over a year. To be honest, it doesn't look like much was done. Breakfast was being served in an area shielded by painters plastic. Every floor is accessible from the sidewalk elevator and staircase which is not very safe, especially for the neighborhood that the hotel is in. I am not usually one to complain, but there was not hospitality area, fitness center, or pool. Don't stay here.

Very Unhappy
Unhappy NorCal Visitor May 30, 2009
I can honestly say the only positive thing was that the room we were moved from was cleaner and the television was better. ... We were not informed of the renovations that were being made and the complimentary breakfast was not the best. So many little things could have been improved but weren't. We tried to communicate with the front desk and she was not helpful, instead she accused me and my husband of being dishonest and that was an insult. Over all i would say i will never book a stay there and will recommend other travelers to do the same.

Good Value
Dave USC Dad May 24, 2009
I was a little hesitant about the location, but this hotel worked out great. They provide their own free secure parking. The ... staff was very helpful and friendly. They seemed to be very interested in making things work for you. They are remodling downstairs but it was not great inconvenience. It is not fancy. If you simply want a very affordable, safe, clean hotel without pretense, this one fits the bill. The free breakfast was actually pretty good. We found the location very good in terms of accessibility to everything we wanted. USC is about 15 or 20 minutes at most times of day.

Great room, good staff, bad service
Dodger Fan May 21, 2009
The staff was very courteous and helpful, but the rooms were not cleaned every day. We had garbage stack up in the room for ... 3 days and the beds were only made, if we requested it. The cleaning personel came by very late in the afternoon (5pm) and asked if anything needed to be done, but I expected the room to be done well before then. The people were friendly and easy to talk to. Aida was a great help. Breakfast was great. The internet connection was so intermittent that if I had to run my business on the road, I would have had to go elsewhere and probably would have changed hotels.

No complaints
Anna Oct 26, 2008
I stayed at the Ramada Limited in Los Angeles and had no problems, ok so I would'nt go for a stroll around the block after ... the sun sets, but otherwise i was satisfied. When I first arrived I had no problem checking in and the young women at the front desk was friendly and upbeat, and had no problem when I told her I would probably be having friends going in and out. Plus they had security down in the parking garage, made me feel even better about leaving my car down there, let alone walking around in the garage. Something else I really liked about about the hotel is the hallways, well at least on my floor(4th) were open, like a balcony, but still enclosed... which was fortunate due to the fact I had a non-smoking room, we could just walk outside our room, and there were plenty of other guests socializing out there. For anyone going to an event/party in LA and need a nice place to stay with friends without getting bugged, this is a great deal. As far as a nice hotel for the family, well you should probably try a safer, and quieter place.

Served It's Purpose
Douglas Feb 24, 2008
My wife and I attended a conference nearby. The hotel served it's purpose. We were looking for a room near our event, that ... was clean, secure and non-smoking. We received that with the hotel. The one elevator was extremely slow and the complimentary continental breakfast was awful. Sausages were hot dog chunks that were spoiled. But there was decent cereal, hard boiled eggs, milk, fruit and juice. The coffee was terrible. The dining room smelled like Lysol.

When the sign on the lobby door
Barbara Jul 22, 2007
says no trespassing we will call the police- you know you are in trouble.... or at least in a neighborhood you probably ... should not be in. Unless of course you are a big burley guy or have 4 friends to go with you everywhere. The neighborhood for this hotel is scary for a person from out of town. The room was decent for the price and clean.
