Clean & Comfortable
Leenie Nov 3, 2009
We've stayed at this Ramada several times before. It's a great value for us and the location is very close to family. We ... hopped on the freeway to get to Qualcomm stadium for a Charger game in fifteen minutes. We also drove a quick six miles south to shop at the upscale outlet mall near the border. We've been to many attractions all from this hotel. We wish they had a small refrig in the rooms.

A Ramada?
Catch22 Sep 7, 2009
Was a bit chilly. No heater in the room. To get a portable heater, you need a $25 deposit. Perhaps I'm getting old, but the ... name Ramada used to mean something a bit above the rest. Not. The room was right on the 805 freeway. Loud.

Buyer Beware!
Embarassed Travel Planner Aug 24, 2009
My friends and I booked a KING SUITE. We chose this hotel based on the pictures the website provided. THE PICTURES WERE NOT ... TAKEN AT THE SAME HOTEL. The room was small, small, small. I was actually embarassed since I was the one responsible for booking the hotel. I have never had this type of experience with other online services like this and you can rest assured I will never use ORBITZ again. I left a message with a Supervisor while I was still booked in my room and never even received the courtesy of a call back. NEVER AGAIN

Thid is a nice hotel, about 10 minutes from downtown San Diego. I-805 is right there. The zoo & Sea World are just a few ... minutes away. We like to stay at out of the way hotels, less noise, easier to get around but very accessable. I would recommend this hotel.

Print a map or take a gps unit. San Diego freeways arent the esiest to follow. But if you have the directions its very easy & fast to get to.

The staff was nice, the room was clean and Ramada feed us breakfast. ***Due to our car breaking down (AAMCO SUCKS!) and a ... rental car we had to get back it was a quick trip. We BOTH accidently left our computers in the room in a drawer. Two hours later we called and they were fetched from the room and both computers were there at the front desk waiting for us when we got there to pick them up. We will back.
