Rooms had a stale smell to them. Just didn't have a clean feeling. Had alot of outside noise that could be heard in the room. ...

I was looking for a hotel a short morning drive to SFO. The staff was very firendly and at first I had a pleasant surprise of ... finding a single size hot tub in the bathroom. Then I found many thick black hairs as well. Gross. When I brought it up to staff the next moring ( we were to exhausted to move to another room that night) the staff was concerned enough to check it out right away. Cleanliness is my number one concern in a hotel. The linens appeared clean but I was not comfortable staying there.

there was a McDonalds opposite the hotel, and a few other shops. there is also a shopping complex and a train station close to the hotel. The hotel is also a short drive from Oakland airport, and close to the freeway

Best Western Hayward is next to the freeway and close to the action. The staff is friendly and available. The decor is ... contemporary and clean. I enjoyed my stay and highly recommend this hotel.

Good no frills hotel

I stayed in this hotel for a few days, and it was worth the price. A varied breakfast was provided, the room was cleaned ... daily and the staff were helpful. The room consisted of a fridge, microwave, TV, hairdryer, and iron/board,free parking was provided for guests. I consider it a good value. no-frills hotel
