1st trip to LA, loved the neighborhood, but a little tough to get anywhere without spending money on a costly cab, not the ... fault of the hotel, just the location. Loved the hot-tub and the pool. Staff was friendly. Didn't use the exercise room, but it looked 1st class for a hotel. Liked the places around, the restaurants and shops, very big plus.

Not a big-time mall, but a place with a few shops across the street. Grocery store across the street as well.

Noisy for ground floor rooms

I was wakened up by noise around 1am by late arriving guests and again by early leaving guests in the early morning. I ... stayed at a ground floor room.

poor dining optins

The dining options for breakfast did not suit my needs. You could not simply puchase a coffee and bagel or toast, everything ... was expensive and too much for my breakfast tastes. The room ac unit was noisy and disturbing.
