Small octagonal units set among cedar trees gives a cozy, close-to-nature feeling. Feels more like a resort than a motel. Get ... a second floor room to avoid the noise from the jacuzzi suites.

the hotel itself was relatively nice and clean but there was very little movie selection that just kept on repeating the same ... 3 movies over and over and over...... and thats not very good if u end up getting sick like my wife did and had to stay in the room most of the time.

I would def go back to this hotel another time! I'm already planning another another trip back! The staff was really nice and ... the great plus was the free limo ride to Foxwoods! The free beer and apps by the fire was a nice way to start the night while we waited for our limo! The beds were so comfortable! The only one downside was the room was a little small. I can't wait to go back!

We went to Foxwoods the whole family, there were a total of nine people.Everyone thought the hotel was great.The beds were ... very comfortable.The rooms were clean and large.There was a limo to take anyone to Foxwoods.Saturday 5-7pm they have complamentry drinks and appertizers.Also the continental breakf- ast had everything from make fresh made waffles to baggels to fruit ,coffe and juice.

I stayed at this hotel with 3 friends during our Wine Trail excursion! We were also able to go to Foxwoods Casino utilizing ... the hotel's complimentary limo service. And the happy hour...free beer, wine and apps was amazing. And the continental breakfast...again, very impressed. Make your own waffles?!?! The rooms were very clean and the tempurpedic beds were a bonus! It was all just really fantastic, I will definitely return.

Overnight trip to Foxwoods, 3 day weekend, this hotel had the best rate for the area, room was big but a bit worn down, all ... entrances outside so might be hard during the winter to get around. Comfortable bed and very clean, friendly staff, offered breakfast and weekend get togethers.

The rooms were beautiful! Marble and white and pristine. No towels in rooms, but staff accommodated us by arriving at our ... door with more than enough towels in less than 3 min after request. The free cocktail hour was great! Gave us a chance to meet our neighbors for the night and to have some wine and apps on the hotel's tab. There is a free limo service to the casinos every 1/2 hour which was easy to use and saved us a bundle on renting a car and allowed a safe ride home after drinking. However, our pickup took 1 1/2 hours to arrive. It was free (Drivers work on tips) so we cant really complain, but it was a real hassle to rush to the pick up point in order to prevent wasting their time, only to have a good hour of your night wasted. That was my only complaint. All in al The Cedar Park was WELL worth the money and I pan to stay here again my next casino adventure.

Hotel is very nice, staff is wonderful there is a great "happy hour" on fri and sat with free beer, wine and home made apps. ... The rooms are unique and very well kept. Also take advantage of the free limo service to the casinos

GREAT LOCATION!! CLOSE TO BEACH, AQUARIUM, CASINO, FOOD, STORES AND MORE!!! BEST BANG FOR THE BUCK I EVER FOUND. WE HAD A ... MINOR PROBLEM AND WERE COMPENSATED! NO COMPLAINTS........ QUIET AREA BY ITSELF AND CLOSE TO HIGHWAYS!! LOVED IT. MASSAGE CHAIR IN ROOM, JACUZZI TUB FIT 2 ADULTS AND WAS NICE AFTER BEACH. UPGRADE YOUR ROOM FOR CHEAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GRILLS ON LOCATION SAVED US A BUNDLE ON MEALS. OTHER HOTELS IN AREA LOOKED NICE BUT WERE TERRIBLE IN PERSON. WE WILL BE GOING BACK NEXT YEAR!

we had a wonderful time! when i told them it was my husband's birthday they upgraded us. we would go back again in a ... heartbeat. this is our type of place to relax with a very friendly down to earth people! tx so much, kathie & tommy

Didn't compare to a Motel 6 as far as amenities. At $130 per night with the taxes way overpriced. No cups in bathroom No ... kleenex No place to hang clothes 4 small drawers for clothes and the bottom of a nightstand So noisy on Sat that we didn't get to try to sleep until after 4:15 am. Housekeeping made bed and changed towels but didn't vacuum or sweep.

Searching for a place to stay can be scary if your looking to save some money. Nothing to be worried about here. My wife and ... I really enjoyed our stay. Located just a couple miles off of I-95 in North Stonington. Free Limo ride to and from Foxwoods(Casino is 7miles from Hotel). .5 miles from Custys (Seafood Buffet). Clean Rooms, Great Staff, Free Drinks and Breakfast. Outdoor Fire pit that we really enjoyed. The Breakfast was worth eating. Great place for those who are social. Not much to do for kids. We cant wait to stay there again.

We found this place to be everything it claimed. Upon arrival we were upgraded to a Luxury Suite automatically which was a ... very nice welcome for us. We planned on visiting the casino's and going to Mystic Seaport and the beaches so this was perfect. Just a few small details missing. The cleaning crew are not the best. They clean but never get the details like making the beds correctly. Visable dust/spider webs. Or couple of small spots of mildew on the shower curtain and never left any cups in the rooms, but will all this said we'd go back any time. Very comfortable and restful.

We booked a luxary suite with a whirlpool at this hotel just for one night July 3, 2009. We didn't have high expectations ... going in, but expected more than we got. Upon arrival, there was nobody at the front desk, I waited for about 5 mins until a woman came out and rushed through the check in process, very rude. Driving down the hill to our room, there were people standing outside drinking and beligerantly yelling. We get to our room to discover that not only was there no whirlpool like we were promised, but the room was so tiny that there was hardly any room to walk on the sides of the bed. You could not fit into the bathroom door comforatably, we had to stand against the opposite wall to even open the door (this is not a weight issue, me and my fiance are of normal proportions!). There was a door in the room that appeared to be a closet but when it was opened, there was a thin, rubber wall that was serving as a barrier between our room and the room next door. The "non smoking" room had a VERY strong cigarette smell in it. It was small and disgusting. I called the front desk and told her we payed for a luxary room with a whirlpool, to which she told me I did not. We packed up our things (we definitely weren't staying, it was unsanitary and felt unsafe). I went to the front office to speak to the woman directly and give our keys back. I showed her the paper work that showed we had booked a room with a whirlpool and she told me that that's not how it was sent over, but refused to show me any paper work. The owner then came out (very unprofessional appearance and mannerisms) and told me that they were not allowed to show me anything and that there were no other rooms available. She also informed me that the room we were put in was a "last minute room" and guests aren't usually to stay there (what?!). This place and the staff left a very bad taste in my mouth and I definitely would not recommend them to anybody.

Nice and close to Foxwoods. The limo ride was an added feature. Staff was friendly. The outdoor fireplace was nice and ... relaxing and a good way to meet other people. The continental breakfast was more than we thought it would be. The grounds were well kept. Overall well worth the price.

mold mildew odor

Literally a basement unit so the floor was tiled with a de-humudifier in the bathroom. No light over the outside door, tv ... remote didn't work. Light next to bed & standing pole light didn't work. Missing lightbulb over sink & the mirror was too low, so standing at 5'8 my head view was cut off. Orange electrial extension cord hanging from ceiling in bathroom. No facecloths or hand towels. No coffee for coffeemaker. An envelope for a houskeeper tip that was old & stained. Ceiling ^ walls are like paper. We could hear everything 7 I mean everything from our neighbors !

Cedar Park Suites was a great place for a weekend get-a-way! My husband and I enjoyed the "Happy Hour" with complimentary ... drinks and eats along with the entertainment. We took full advantage of the "free" limo rides to Foxwoods. Kenny provided prompt and professional service to and from the casino. Our room was clean except for the shower curtain, quite moldy. They do have great whirlpool tubs. We had a tub for 2 but the room was very small. The other rooms that had the tub for 2 also had a fold out couch with a sitting area, they were much larger. We didn't spend much time in the room but if we go again I am going to ask for the larger room. The location was great, a quick ride to Mystic, eat @ 10 Clams, quick good eats for lunch or dinner. Also a short ride to Rhode Island beaches. Really nice spot.

The room was clean and extremely comfortable. The staff was friendly and made us feel right at home. The beds were so ... comfortable I hated to leave and the whirlpool bath was so soothing. They offered us snacks and drinks outside when we arrived and in the morning we had a great breakfast. It is one of the nicest places we Have stayed and look forward to going back some day.

no heat - something strange on the wall!!! gross! there was a cat in the office that was rubbing up on my leg during check ... in. . this was a very strange time warped enviroment- would not recommend it.
