Visited the hotel for a business conference. The rooms were nice but faced a busy highway. During rush hour the traffic ... could be heard. The conference rooms were small and stuffy. The staff were exceptionally friendly. Location was great if you have a rental car. There isn't much within walking distance.

Wonderful hotel at a great price

I was in Chicago to play an organ concert in Western Springs. The hotel was everything one would except from a first class ... establishment. My wife and I have traveled much, being the owners of Windmill Adventures Inc. in Burnsville, MN. We have escorted numerous tour groups to Europe and have a great deal of hotel experience. We consider the Oakbrook Marriot one of our favorite hotels,and certainly will stay there during any future visits to the Chicago area.Highly recommended!

The Marriott Hotel in Oakbrook, Chicago, was a very friendly hotel. Their staff was very courteous and very helpful. ... Overall I had a very pleasant stay. I would recommend this hotel to a friend and I would definately stay there again.

Want all the eminities of the hotels in the city, without paying city charges and free parking to boot? Oakbrook Marriot ... has it all. Front Desk Staff was very helpful in providing directions to different places in the city. Beautiful, comfortable large rooms decorated in Marriott's own newly available to all motif. Enjoyed the Health Club and loved the fact they stock it ear phones so you could listen to your own personal Flat panel hindged above the exercise equipment. Fantastic area for shopping; Mall is right across the street and are is filled with many resturants, no matter what you facy, you will find.

Run a great banquet hall

The Marriott Chicago Oak Brook have very comfortable beds, first thing I used when I checked in, the room was a very good ... size with a workstation desk area and an additional seating. I liked the fact that the bathroom was separate from the vanity area; shower room a little small. But who spends there time in the rest room there whole trip. lol I love the vanity area and think I will steal some of their deco ideas *wink* provided amenties. The location was very good -- it was really only right across the street from OHARA mall; yet the mall is one of those malls you wall outside. I recommend you wear boots in the winter season. Cheesecake Factory and other food places were near as well just in case the person you visit leaves you a entire day at the hotel with no transportation. lol Overall stay was quite relaxing. I enjoyed meeting new peole there as well. I am disappointed on my last night the pool and fitness center closed down for renovation. I was really looking forward to that swim. Well maybe next time *smile*
