This hotel is the absolute best place to stay for out of towners doing the peachtree road race. They were prepared for ... runners, catered to runners, and they have the BEST customer experience of any hotelier on that day. We've done the peachtree for many years as a family and stayed in many different "high end" hotels, but none can compare to this one.

Nice but nothing spectacular
L Jan 2, 2010
We choose the hotel for its location. We were attending the Chick-fil-a bowl and wanted a hotel close to the MARTA station. ... I asked the representative at the front desk for instructions to the Georgia Dome. She rudely told me to "take the train and ask the concierge for a map and directions." If I was expecting mediocrity I would have made reservations and stayed elsewhere. The room and ambiance was okay.

The hotel's complimentary shuttle to srurrounding shopping, including Lennox Square and Phipp's Plaza is more than sufficient. You have no worries about shopping or carrying around heavy bags. The service was excellent.

Rekindled Romance
The Second Time Around Oct 9, 2009
This Grand Hyatt is located in Buckhead in the midst of just about everything that you could want i.e. shopping, restaurants, ... movies, etc. I reunited with a former love to rekindle our romance, we could not have been in a better location. Whatever we required was available at the hotel and the staff was excellent all the way around. The hotel transportation to local spots is just perfect as were the drivers. A stay can be ruined for me if cleanliness is not foremost - they did not disappoint. The bathrooms were particularly beautiful and clean. I will definitely take advantage of this hotel again.

Love a Deal Oct 5, 2009
The hotel does have a good address, but somewhat tricky to find. I would certainly recommend it, especially for the gym and ... sauna, free! The people, including a hotel driver to nearby locations who is fabulous! Great food and shopping handy to the hotel. The beds are hard to leave and the rooms very user friendly! Try it, you'll like it!

Too expensive for the stay
Happy Traveler Sep 29, 2009
The lobby bar was nice and the staff was very friendly. Drinks a bit overpriced. They should have offered a free snack that ... was a bit better than what they offered. Parking was a huge issue. For the price of the room the parking should have been much less. $20.00 a day seemed high for a hotel guest that is already paying $150.00 for an average room. A map of the city in the room would have been a nice touch. Internet service should have been included and not have an extra charge. In room coffee provided was awful. The best part of this hotel was the staff. They were very helpful and friendly. Somehow it made up for a portion of what was lacking in amenities. I went looking for a liquor store in the area...forget it...and to top it off noone I talked to could tell me where one was either. There is a very nice Kroger store around the corner though.

First loves reunite after 23 yrs
Tammy Aug 18, 2009
I was there to reunite with a man I met when I was 9yrs. old. I found him on facebook on July 23rd and felt I needed to make ... the trip to see him. Our hotel was beautiful and romantic and gave us amazing service all weekend long. The best part was we came in late from a night out on Saturday and he made arrangements with the hotel to be able to sing and play music for me. It was an unforgettable experience. I couldn't believe they made that happen. Needless to say I'm going back in 2 weeks and will hopefully be staying again. Kudos!!! Couldn't have been better.

Unhappy 4th of July Jul 8, 2009
My husband and I planned a 4th of July get away. Went to enjoy afternoon at the pool but to our surprise, there were no ... chairs or chaise lounges to be had. We asked for a folding chair and were told none were available. We could have stayed at our pool at home instead of sitting on the ground.

My review of GRAND HYATT ATLANTA IN BUCKHEAD
Gary Aug 24, 2008
The Grand Hyatt Atlanta in Buckhead was a great place to stay. Room was very clean and the bedding was great with their ... oversized pillows. The location was very good, it was really only a short walk to many excellent restaurants that are in the area.

Loud at night
Linda Aug 11, 2008
There was a wedding in the hotel the weekend I stayed. As luck would have it, several of the wedding party were on my ... floor. All night long beginning sometime after midnight, the wedding party was running up and down the hallways banging on doors, yelling, laughing. This went on intermittently until well after 4 a.m. We called the front desk to complain, and they assured us they were doing everything they could. The next morning, the hotel left a letter under our door apologizing for the incident and telling us the appropriate people had been warned. They did not comp our hotel room that night or adjust the price. All we got was a letter that was too little too late. Very disappointed about that.

Nice place
Mark Jan 26, 2008
I've stayed at this hotel a total of three times. The rooms are nice and the ammenities rank up there with some of the ... finest hotels in the area. If there is anything that I thought that could be improved, it was some of the smaller details ... thick oversized towels or upgraded televisions. The hotel was built to be a luxery hotel and I would say that it still is. However, if it is going to remain so, management is going to have to look into the finer details. I would not have a problem staying at this hotel in the future, I just hope they can keep up with the competition in the area.

John Sep 3, 2007
We stayed in the high end room so don't know about some of the negative comments I saw on the lower cost rooms. Our room came ... with free access to the Regency Club. Nice addition for snacks, food and drinks if you are trying to save a few bucks. Area is convenoent to Lenox square shopping center and many restaurants. Hotel has a van which will pickup and deliver within a 2 mile radius. Never waited more than 20 minutes to use it. Parking is 17 dollars a day if you self park in the garage next door or 24 dollaras if you use valet (plus tips). Interenet access is extra and expensive but it didn't matter to us since we didn't use it. Overall we were very pleased

The Grand Hyatt Atlanta was very comfortable. I liked the fact that the bathroom was separate from the vanity area and there ... was a sink with a long counter and there was adequate space for hanging clothes and they provided two suitcase stands. The location was very good.
