Anniversary weekend
Jekyllnut Nov 2, 2009
We were very pleasantly surprised by the over-all appearance of the rooms, front lobby and friendliness of the staff. We ... will definetely stay here again. Our only regret was we only stayed one night. Cracker Barrel, Shoney's and Starbucks were all within walking distance. My husband noticed a little interstate noise, but not enough to disturb his sleep.

Great Outbound - Trying Return
Grand Parents Jul 4, 2009
Outbound motel (La Quinta) was fine. Service great. Booked return room. Only room left a king. Was assured that they had ... roll-out beds for their rooms for our 5 year-old granddaughter we were going to get for a vaction with us. When we arrived at 10:30 PM we were told that there were no roll-out beds. In deed, that they hadn't had them for years. They had no other rooms left (needed at least 2 queen beds). Sent us to Best Western. The lobby had disagreeable odor, the room given to us had no working TV. We had to move again. Took the last room. It was OK but not nearly as nice as the the La Quinta and by that time it was nearing midnight. Overall, it was not a good experience. We were quite tired and not in the mood for all of this. We have stayed in this La Quinta in the past and have been very satisfied. If they had given us the correct information on the outbound stay, we would not have had the bad experience. We will not accept a stay at the Best Western again.

La Quinta Inn & Suites Brunswick, was very pleasuable to stay at. We came early and they let us in our room before the ... regular check in time. We appreciate this very much. The rooms were clean and staff was wonderful. We were not visiting on vacation, there is a sickness in the family and having a home like enviroment to stay is appreciated. I had gotten 2 rooms with queen beds. Next time I stay I will get a king. We are larger people and were a little crowded but that was us not you. The beds were comfortable though.

Not Happy
Gary Jun 27, 2008
Upon arriving and unloading two cars, we smelled something burning. We reported it to the front desk, and they called the ... fire department. We then had to remove our belongings and go outside in the heat for two hours while the fire department checked it out. They found the source in their laundry room. The smell lingered on for some time and we were unable to sleep. I told the manager I was not satisfied, and he said he would take care of my dis-satisfaction as we checked out but ten days later, we have seen nor heard anything.
