One mile east from "The Las Vegas Strip" also located 1/2 mile South of the Las Vegas Convention Center. Walking distance to Las Vegas Convention Center and Sands Expo Center.
The hotel does not have its own restaurant, but there are several convenient dining options within one mile of the hotel.

Smokin Hotel

I had asked for a non smoking room. Even though the sign on the door stated it was a non smoking room. The room ranked with ... smoke. It was hard to sleep because of the smell. When I placed my order for the room I mentioned that there were 3 of us. We ended up with a queen bed for 3. This was very difficult to sleep with a 6 year old kicking. We eventually had to take the bed spread off the bed and put it on the floor for her to sleep. There were no extra pillows either. You would think that we would have at least had a 3rd pillow. We checked in before midnight, but we did not check out the room then (our mistake) when we did arrive at our room later that evening, it was too late to ask for a pillow or blankets or even another room with 2 beds.

Very dirty Hotel.

The Location was great, it was good that have a parking lot, but the hotel was not very clean at all, everything look very ... dirty, the carpet look very dirty an old, when an undo the sheets to go to bed, there was something crawling there, I had to leave the Hotel, and checking in into another Hotel.

The good news is that Hotel Suites of America is within a long walk of the LV Convention Center. You know what you've got ... when you see the sign by the registration desk stating that monthly rents are due by the 1st! No connectivity. Stairs only to the second or third floors. You have to tell cabbies how to find it, as they don't recognize the name of the property. And don't answer your door after dark - advice from a cabbie. And there were three knocks between 8 and 10pm.

There is a cab phone in the lobby. Wait times were typically 15 to 20 minutes.
