My stay at the Bellagio was spectacular. The rooms were elegant, clean and personalized with everything that you would want ... or need. The staff was wonderful. I met a couple women that worked in the Bellagio spa front desk and they gave me excellent advice on great restaurants to dine. I took their advice and was pleasantly pleased as the food was wonderful and the service was just as great! I would recommend the Bellagio to everyone whom wants to relax, have fun and get a little pampered at the same time.

The Bellagio did not live up our expectations. Location on the strip was great. We had a room facing the fountain which was ... great. the fountain shows were really cool. The room was average at best and starting to show its age. Hard water stains in the bathroom were "gross". Room service food was prompt and very good.

We have been to Las Vegas many times. The level of service and quality of the property was amazing. The spa is something ... that every person should see at least once in their lifetime. The rooms were well-appointed and maintained. This property is 11 years old in a city which has constantly newer, bigger and better. It is as nice now as when it opened. I could only hope to return to Bellagio often!!

We loved our experience at The Bellagio. It was a beautiful hotel, I would stay there again just to see the decorations for ... the Holidays. The food was exquisite and especially enjoyed the bar by the lake to watch the water show. I love the crepes and French pastries each morning available eary in the morning so I could get to my meeting early.

This hotel is beautiful. It is very clean and luxurious. The staff was very helpful and courteous. There is nothing bad ... that I can say about this hotel. It is truly a 5 star hotel. Everything is on a higher scale, which is to be expected. In past visits, I have stayed at Ballys and MGM. Because of the spectacular deal that I received on my vacation, I wanted to experience a more luxurious hotel.

It's best to catch the bus and go downtown to Fremont St., where the original hotels are and walk around. There are great deals on souvenirs and meals. Much more inexpensive on buffets in this area, than in the hotels on the strip.

Awesome Hotel
Doreen G. Nov 16, 2009
I love the Bellagio. We go to Vegas every year since 2001 and have stayed at many of the best hotels. This one was my best ... experience so far. The room was very comfortable and beautiful. It is a bit of a long walk from the Spa Tower to get to the front desk...not to mention the strip, but it was worth it anyway. Walking past the Conservatory every morning and evening was an extremely pleasant experience. It is one of my favorite places on the strip anyway. Also, stopping to have crepes on our way back to our room every night was a special delight. We ate at Cafe Bellagio for the first time, it was a lovely atmosphere overlooking the beautiful pool area and the conservatory...it doesn't get better for me. I highly recommend this hotel.

The Conservatory...just an awesome experience. It changes from day to night and is updated throughout the year with different displays.

Amazing Hotel...Few Imperfections
Happy Husband Nov 15, 2009
Getaway weekend with the wife. Of course, we were familiar with the Bellagio's grandeur, but we had never stayed ... there. Since you never get a 2nd chance to make a 1st impression, you'd think the Bellagio would nail the check-in procedure. We arrived Friday night and were immediately frustrated by the lack of a formal line at the check-in counter; instead, guests line up behind random clerks. It would work much better if they followed the bank branch model: one line for clients to go to the next available clerk. Strike One. Upon checking-in, we learned that they would not be able to accommodate our Non-Smoking room reservation, and that we'd have to spend the night in a "Smoking Optional" room...on a "Smoking Optional" floor. Smoking Optional...in Vegas? Anyone who has stepped foot in a casino knows what Smoking Optional smells like. Strike Two. Impressively, for the Bellagio, they were able to hold the count to 2 strikes. We complained about the room right there at the check-in counter. The clerk said he would "call his manager in the back" and lo and behold, there was another Smoke-Free room on a smoke-free floor that just became available. Now the good stuff...The hotel is a modern wonder. We had a Deluxe LAKE VIEW room. If you don't pay for a room with a FULL LAKE VIEW of the fountains, then there's really no point in staying at this hotel. My wife and I never tired of enjoying the dancing fountains with music accompaniment on the TV. Other than the INCREDIBLE view of the fountains and the strip - specially The Paris Casino, the rooms are standard hotel fare. We saw "O" - Cirque de Soleil. It was amazing, worth every penny. Go see it. We ate a Picasso. Service was amazing. Multi-course menu was mixed: the very good (poached oysters, butternut squash soup, the desserts) and the not so good (neither of us enjoyed our entrees: red snapper was overcooked, the pigeon was just gross). View of the fountains range from little/partial view to window seat to outside on the patio. Yes, there are Picassos on the wall. If you're into high-end shopping, then this is your hotel. Not only are there the nicest stores (Hermes, Chanel, Fendi, etc.), they all come with amazing views of the fountains while you shop. Bottom line: We had a wonderful time. Bellagio does the huge things very well; the little things not so well.

Awesome !
Lovers of New Experiences Nov 14, 2009
We stayed at The Bellagio for 4 nights. This hotel was breathtaking ! Absolutely the most beautiful hotel on the Strip. ... (We checked out all of the other hotels for future reference.) It had a great selection of award-winning restaurants, cozy little bars and high-class shops, as well as eateries and shops for people on a budget. The "O" Theater was right in the casino, which was wonderfully convenient. The room was huge and clean. The decor was both contemporary and elegant and everything looked very new. We stayed in the Spa Tower and I believe the front desk upgraded us to this newer tower for free. (He gave us a choice as to which room we wanted and suggested the Spa Tower himself.) Our room overlooked both the Strip and the Fountains. My only complaint was that the housekeeping staff didn't "make-up" the room as well as I would have expected for such a nice hotel. The room was clean when we arrived and we are clean people, so this wasn't a huge deal, but the decorative pillows were never put back on the bed, my robe was never hung up, the ironing board and iron were never put away, the shower didn't seem to be cleaned during our stay, turn down service only left chocolate the first night, the Directory of Services in the room was in Spanish only, the trash wasn't emptied everyday--that sort of thing. We've stayed at 4-star hotels where the housekeeping was exceptional, and I believe this was a 5-star. Simple solution--just don't leave a tip. Despite this, we would most definitely recommend this hotel and are looking forward to staying here again in the future !

See "O". It was wonderful ! Every single person I talked to recommended it. Also, "KA" at the MGM Grande was superb ! It was actually my favorite. Just get tickets for both shows before you get there if possible. We passed by the box office a couple of times and heard several people say they weren't going to be able to see the shows because they were sold out. You can get tickets for both shows at the Bellagio Box Office, I believe, because the hotels are related.

Although the hotel could not accommodate my original request they were able to move us to another room with a fantastic view ... of the strip and the fountains. Each night we could see the show from the comfort of our room. I recommend the Spa tower over the main hotel even though the walk is slightly farther from the lobby. It is quiet and has a great view. We visited every casino/hotel on the strip and by far Bellagio was the most elegant, cleanest, and best positioned.

Outstanding location...the foutains are majestic. The casino is very inviting and the staff were very professional. The ... room was clean and comfortable, but certainly nothing extravagant. The TV was outdated and the bathroom counter was tiny...couldn't even hold our personal items. The hairdryer broke while using it. Required to pay $25 to use the gym. High speed internet was extra as well. Next time in Vegas I will stay somewhere else. There are rooms nearby that are just as nice for a far less price.

I surprised my wife with a trip to Vegas to see U2 for our anniversary. I booked a penthouse suite at the Bellagio and ... couldn't have been happier. From check-in in the executive suite lounge to having the bed turned down with jazz on the tv when we returned from dinner to the white tablecloth room service breakfasts, it was a first class experience from start to stop. It was a short trip, and our first multi-nighter away from our two-year old, but with the luxery of the suite we were in relaxed mode in no time flat. Can't wait to go back!

For a little more than cab fare to and from the strip, I'd recommend renting a car during your stay. We got up early the day after we arrived, packed a breakfast and drove west about 20 minutes and had breakfast in Red Rock Canyon. They have a 13 mile scenic drive that is absolutely amazing. It's nice to take a moment to get away from the glitz of the strip for a few hours and take in the natural beauty that so many miss because they never leave the strip. Highly recommended!
