My stay at the Holiday Inn in Tallahassee, FL (Exit 199) was predicated on attending an organizational meeting. Check-in was ... fairly prompt, although there was only one person attending the registration desk, and she was interrupted by several phone calls during my check-in. The room was comfortable and clean, the elevators were functioning and prompt, the restaurant food was quite good, although the promptness of hostess and servers was a bit slow despite the fact that there was only a moderate number of customers. The organizational meeting room was comfortable and relatively quiet, the set-ups were good, and the lunch set-up was handled quite well. Overall, I was very satified with my stay at this facility, and would certainly recommend it for future stays, whether for business or vacation travel. The facility has its own restaurant, but is also in close proximity to other dining establishments.

Nice hotel in good part of town

I was traveling to Tallahassee alone for a Saturday class at FSU. This hotel is in a good location and I felt safe and slept ... well! It's fairly new, completely smoke-free, and I like that every room has a refrigerator and microwave. I will definitely be staying here again the next time I go to Tallahassee.

Attending FSU graduation- I know Tallahassee was packed this weekend but I really think the price was outrageous. Mary Beth ... at the Front Desk was Fantastic! Location was excellent and staff super nice. Cleanliness was good and the facility overall was new and well cared for. But again- I have paid less for 5 star hotels in bigger cities-must have been Graduation weekend and the only time these hotels can make any money.

One small problem

I've stayed at this hotel many times, and do like it very much. Very nice room, and somewhat expensive, but it was right next ... to the house cleaning storage/prep room. Needless to say those gals get started very early so sleeping in was not in the cards. The banging and rumbling of the carts was not conducive to rest and relaxation.

The Holiday Inn staff were very pleasant and the hotel was quiet and out of the way of the busy area of Tallahassee. The ... hotel was very clean but the rates were a bit pricey for not having used any amenities.

I have one complaint about the house keeping lady she came to my room to clean before the check out time not only once but ... three time that morning and didn't even knock before she swipe the key to enter the room luckly I had the dead bolt hook on the door. I report her to the front desk clerk and she was very helpful in solving the situation. I think house keeping should not disturb guest until after the check out time is over.

This hotel exceeded our expectations for a Holiday Inn.... The decor was contemporary and tasteful, the furniture in the ... lobby and rooms was very designer, and the bathroom was lovely. Granite countertops and shower walls, and more than ample counter and storage space for cosmeticsin the sink/vanity area. The beds were extremely comfortable. We were here for an FSU graduation and if ever in the Tallahassee area again, would very much enjoy staying at this hotel. Wonderful experience!

Cracker Barrel and Shoneys are very close for a great breakfast. The hotel also has a restaurant and full bar.
