Wish we'd stayer longer!

Had arranged for a late check in and were greeted warmly and quickly on arrival. We asked what might still be opened where we ... could get a late dinner and were directed across the street to the Old Town La Quinta shopping district where we found a great little restaurant. Since we had gone from check in to dinner we had not seen our room but when we did we very pleased, roomy, clean,well appointed and quiet. Slept well and went down to a free breakfast of omelets made to order, fruit juice and coffee. Took an apple and an orange from the basket, refilled our coffee, checked out (quickly and easily) and were back on the road. We decided next time we were in the desert this is where we would stay.

The hotel was a short drive to Indian Wells tennis stadium. It also was right by a grocery store for all of our needs.

1. The River outdoor shopping mall and theatres. It has a manmade river runniong through it and the theatres are spacious adn modern. 2. The El Paseo shopping district and restaurants. Lots of fun boutiques and mid-level restaurants. 3.The Fish Market restaurant. Fresh fish cooked to order--very tasty and casual.

A nice place to stay

Our casita was large and comfortable The free buffet breakfast was nice and the staff was friendly and helpful. We each got ... an 80 min massage at the spa which was on special for the 50 min price ($125). My husband enjoyed his massage, but mine was very mediocre for the price. We stayed during the week and the pool & jacuzzi next to our casita became our private area. All & all an enjoyable stay. We would definitely stay there again.

When my husband and I wanted to attend the tennis tournament, my tennis partner wanted to go as well. It is always awkward ... when there is a couple and another girl. We didn't want the expense of two rooms. Staying at the Embassy suites took care of our deleima. The living room had a sofa that lets out into a bed. There were doors on the bedroom for her privacy and ours. She had her own TV and we shared the bath. Thanks Embassy Suites for solving our travel problems. The convenience of the coffee maker, the microwave and the fridge made it most comfortable. The Embassy suites, La Quinta worked perfectly for our visit to Indian Wells tennis tournament.

Good value and comfort

The Embassy Suites in La Quinta, Ca, is a good value, especially considering the included full breakfast and happy hour. The ... rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the location is good for the pleasure traveller. The casistas are like a small apartment, complete with full kitchen and washer/dryer. The main pool is not large, but it's surrounded by comfortable lounges and has a shower. Room service dishes were not picked up for the entire duration of our stay and one day we had to call the front office to ask for housecleaning at 5 p.m. The staff was friendly and I plan to return on another weekend getaway.

Embassy Suites La Quinta was a awesome deal, the room appeared to be brand new and was very spacious and nice. You get ... complementary breakfast buffet and a manager's reception drinks at the lobby. There are 5 small pools... it was quiet and relaxing. We loved it!

I stayed one night at the Embassy Suites La Quinta and founf the room to be large (it had a separate bedroom) and clean, and ... it had a useable balcony. It had a fridge, sink and microwave. The bathroon was good sized and nicely appointed. Breakfast is included with cook to order omletes. Other items were served cafeteria style and included pancakes/french toast, meats/potates and the usual fruits and cereals. Seating space is at a premium however given the number of people at the hotel. The location is pretty remote from the usual destinations.

We stayed at this hotel for the Memorial Day weekend. We stayed in a casita. I didn't realize that the casita would have a ... full kitchen and a washer and dryer. When I opened the door I was ecstatic because I have a 10 month year old baby so I could wash her bottles and any clothes. The casita had a separate living and bedroom area. So nice to feel like you can stretch out. The closet was a big walk in and the bathroom was huge as well. In addition, we only stayed one night and this was one of the only hotels that would allow that for a long weekend. They were very accomodating. The complementary buffet breakfast and reception in the evening was a nice touch. The rooms have high ceilings and the space felt very grand. It was just as relaxing as staying at a resort/spa. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!

THE HOTEL STAFF WAS VERY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL. STORES WERE CLOSE BY. A LITTLE OFF THE MAIN STRIPP BUT NOT TO BAD. THE ... CASITA WAS VERY NICE AND COMFORTABLE.
