Dissatisfied Dec 8, 2009
The rooms we were given were in the oldest part of the hotel. The rooms were cold (No Heat) and filthy. After we complain, we ... were transferred to another section that was much warmer. I think Sahara should close that section and the whole hotel could use a complete make over.

Sahara Stay
HorseyCop Dec 5, 2009
Great amenities for the hotel! By staying at the Sahara we were right at the norhernmost LV Monorail stop. We were at the ... gateway to the strip and able to easily get to our car, pool, casino, monorail, attractions and food. The pool was not open past business hours and so we went pool/spa-less while we were there! They need to extend their pool hours and get better ventilation (for the smoke) in the casino! Other than that, everything was great.

If you want to do the CSI:Experience, Shark Reef, roller coster at New York, New York or one other (I can't remember), you can buy a 3 for 1 package at the Luxor (or other places I think) that costs about $54 and gives you the opportunity to choose 3 out of the 6 for the cost of a little more than doing one attraction by itself! Also, the monorail is a great way to get to all of them!:)

Sahara Hotel - Thanksgiving Weekend
Guing/Tony Dec 1, 2009
October 2009 was the first time we tried Sahara Hotel. I was pleased and so booked our room again over the Thanksgiving ... weekend. Sherry, Room reservation agent, was gracious enough to transfer us to the new wing. So my husband and I got to compare the old and the new. I told Sherry that room and bed were okay except for the bathroom that was clogged whenever we used the shower. This time the bathroom was not clogged and I like the new wing better. Until our next visit which would be in 2010.

Was there for a short period of time. Didn't have time to find flaws. Things went pretty smooth. Maid did leave window open ... in sister's room. Had kids over from local relatives. Was a little scary considering we were on the 22nd floor and the kids could have potentially fallen out. That was the only downfall to this whole experience.
