Good Price, Good Location, Would Return

We came to locate an apartment in the San Feranando Valley for our son who will be attending college in California this fall. ... The hotel was centrally located, staff was helpful and friendly. The rooms were clean and the beds very comfortable. Only thing was all the hallways have a stale smell to them, so was concerned about the rooms. This was not the case. It is near a hangar that houses private planes but the noise was never an issue. Would return and stay here again.

The hotel is older and starting to show it's age. the restaurant was closed and the charge for parking was a surprise. Plus ... if you have a west facing room, the jet noise is very significant. It was definately overpriced for a 60's era motel without a restaurant that at one time was the hot place when flying in to the Van Nuy's Airport.

Van Nuys Flyaway to LAX is cheap and convenient. Only 2 blocks from the hotel and they will take you there with the shuttle service.

My hotel stay was dissatisfying. 2 days they did not enter or clean my room. Was a roach on the wall and in the ... lobby. Did not get my wake-up call on one occasion.

Having a background in the hospitality industry, I found this hotel very nice with many amenities for business or pleasure ... trips. The room was very spacious, clean, comfortable and modern. We were lucky enough to see the free onsite Mustang/Mustang show (WW II fighter jets & cars) open to the public. We did not utilize the restaurant or bar area. But they looked very pleasant and welcoming. We spent one night and had a $99 internet rate and would consider this property again when in need.

This is our 4th visit to this hotel. We had a late lunch gathering of family at the Landings restaurant, and although it was ... well past the lunch hour, the staff were so friendly and accommodating. My daughter and I stayed at the hotel with my 5 month old grandson, and we were treated so well. We couldn't take advantage of the pool, spa and exercise area, but were impressed by it and look forward to enjoying the facilities at another time. I needed to rent a car, and the Car Rental is right near the lobby of the hotel. The staff there were very friendly, and it couldn't have been more convenient. Highly recommended!
