The room severed its purpose. It was just for an overnight stay. The evening staff was not very friendly but, the early ... morning staff was great. I would stay there again and recommend it to a friend for an overnight stay. Over all it was okay.

Nice Hotel

The front desk staff was very helpful. I didn't like the fact that the shuttle only ran every hour. If you plan on taking the ... train downtown, the shuttle will take you to the airport. If you come back after 10pm plan on catching a cab from the airport to the hotel. They charged $15 for the ride from the airport. The train is the best bet to get downtown, the hotel is still in a good location to get to it.

If you plan on going downtown, make sure you leave plan to leave on the hour since the shuttle only runs to the airport every hour. If you plan on driving any where North of the airport, make sure you plan for construction. The chicago area looks like a big orange barrell. other than that the hotel is great for the price i paid.

No Ride from the Airport to Hotel
Vivian Feb 24, 2009
I booked a hotel for my stop over in Chicago and didn't book the most expensive nor the cheapest but should have booked with ... a well known chain because I arrived late at the airport and waited for the airport shuttle and it never came. No where on the detail information does it say the shuttle stops at 11pm. I eventually had to take a taxi costing me an extra $40. I was not happy. I should have just paid the little bit more and stayed at the Sheraton for example because their shuttles were still running.

Well worth the price
Martin Jul 15, 2008
The LaQuinta Inn was one of the best values on the market. A free shuttle took us to O'Hare Airport where we boarded the el ... for a trip into Chicago, where we cruised on a boat and enjoyed a simply exquisite dinner. Once the night was complete, the shuttle picked us up at O'Hare and transported us back to the hotel for a very comfortable night sleep ... again, at a very affordable rate.

Quick and Quiet Comfort
Erika Jan 6, 2008
La Quinta was conveniently located by (but not ON) the airport premises, yet the room didn't vibrate every single time that a ... plane flew overhead. I was impressed by the quick and personalized attention I received with regards to the shuttle to and from the hotel and O'Hare. While the hotel wasn't in the best shape (broken glass on the front door) and wasn't in the best neighborhood, it was within walking distance of stores and restaurants. The only downside was that I was in an adjoining room (separated by a door) and, consequently, noise easily filtered in from my neighbor and the door often shook and slammed whenever he/she left. Also, someone had been smoking in the non-smoking bathroom. However, I certainly feel that I got what I paid for.
