Convenient location. Good breakfast. Had problem with noise from other rooms. The hotel staff was not very helpful so went ... to the group leader who was responsible for the people in the other room. They handled it.

The front desk staff was helpful. The "clean" towels in our room were filthy and had hair folded up in them. The pool was ... open 9-9pm. Longer hours would have been nice. The pool towels were hard and scratchy and the size of a hand towel. The hotel was packed with young families and the breakfast area/buffet ran out of food and could not keep up with the guests. People had to stand and eat and we did not get any hot items as they ran out of fake eggs and potatoes. The location was fine, but not walking distance to anything. The a/c unit clicked on and off every 10-15 mins and the vent cap was broken so I slept with cold air blasting in my face. The sprinlkers that came on at night made the floor and walkways very slippery. I almost slipped and fell and so did a few other guests. While we ate breakfast on our last morning before checkout housekeeping must have come by and noticed that we were still occupying the room and left the door open.

There's a shopping center just across the street from the hotel... you have a fridge and microwave in the room, so stock up at Ralph's grocery store and save a few bucks on meals.

Overall we had a good experience here... we were treated well, the room was great for the price and it's within walking ... distance of the beach and a few restaurants. Avoid getting a room near the elevator... the only complaint we had was the noise level of people waiting for the elevator, even in the middle of the night. We did find the bed to be very comfortable.

We were part of a large family group that stayed at the hotel and we couldn't be happier with how we were treated. The hotel ... housed us together and they were very helpful with information, etc. If we return to San Diego, we'll stay at Quality Inn again. We also liked how close the hotel was to the ocean.

First of all when we got to the hotel they put us up in a handicap room which I did not request but they said because I went ... thru Orbitz that is what you usually get. When we went in the room it had a horrible odor in it and we refused to stay in that smelly room so they put us in a different room and that room was better till we went to lay down in the bed and it fell down and broke so we had to call them to come see it and they said yea it's broke !!! Well then they put us up in a different room and finally that one was good but it took 3 rooms to finally get a good room. So I will never stay at another Quality Inn as I do not see it as a very good hotel, they do not keep up there rooms or care of beds!!!

The hotel was in a great location. Grocery store, coffee and restaurants were all nearby. It's easy to find and close to the ... interstate. The pool could have been a bit warmer but it was clean. They had a decent breakfast.

This is not a new Quality Inn as it seemed. They have purchased an older motel, and this building needs much updating. The ... beds were comfortable, but rugs were dirty, no water pressure. Seemed run down. Other than the nice beds, I would have probably been just as comfortable next door at the motel with the light on for a lot less money.

I could say that the Quality Inn was in a good area near many attractions. Also, The breakfast was great!! This helped out ... every morning instead of waiting at a resturant. The pool was heated so that was nice since it was cool late at night. Overall the hotel room was okay. I thought they could have been much bigger. But, it worked out.

I thought the hotel concierge was friendly but the housekeeping was rude and very loud. The room was clean when we go there ... but did not get cleaned during our stay. I did not get a chance to check out the pool or fitness center, so I cannot comment. Overall, the hotel is comfortable for a short stay only.

There is a nice outdoor mall maybe a mile from the hotel done by the beach. It offers coffee houses and diners. Most businesses are pet friendly.

Friendly and helpful check in. Problem with some folks being very noisy walking back and forth past room after midnight. ... Likewise, several men were being VERY noisy in the pool after the time which it was to close, but the staff took care of it. Also, my key lost its code twice. Otherwise the room was just fine and staff were friendly and helpful.

Just a quick thought on the Quality Inn & Suites. I guess that it is called a suite because there is a table, fridge & ... microwave in the room. But it was basically a place to stay, bed was somewhat comfortable, tv had a lot of interfereence and limited channels, pool was ok at best. For the money it was ok, it was worth 25-30 more a night. But I wouldn't stay here if you are looking for amenities.

OK in a pinch

Staff was not very friendly, we were traveling with small children and tried to get early check in and couldn't. We waited 4 ... hours by the pool before we could check in, which with a 4 year old and 9 month old is not easy. They had to have had some rooms cleaned before then, so I don't know what the issue was. Rooms were not the cleanest. Being so close to the beach was great, but it was not walking distance.

This place was in a great location, just a block from the ocean & quick freeway access. Across the street was a clean little ... shopping center for convienience. They're was a Ralf's Grocery Store, Pickup Stix, Polo Loco, Subway, Burger King, Cleaners, and Rite Aid. The room was clean & came with a refridgerator, microwave, ironing board, heated pool. The only thing wrong was the Air COnditioning was'nt as cool as it should be.
