The staff was very attentive to all our requests and spoke with us each time we passed them. They also knew about great ... resturants and arranged all our transportation needs.

Take advantage for the "stay for breakfast" deal if you are able to. Breakfast buffet is very good, but it is expensive. A family of 4 would cost about $60.

If you are looking for a place to stay with a GREAT location this would be a good choice. One block from the White House and ... easy walking distance to everything else. Room was very small. Pool area was in need of updating. Fitness room was very good. As far as JW's go this is probably one our there lower tier properties. My advice would be to take advantage of the stay for breakfast special if available (save yourself $60 a morning for breakfast). Overall, a good stay. If you are looking for a high end 4 or 5 star hotel, this would not be it. If you are looking for a place to stay that is in the middle of everything, this would be worth you consideration.

The hotel did not have Free WiFi. For the price you would think that it would have had it. You had to pay for each 24 hours ... you used it. How Cheap!

Great location if you're visiting the DC area. The staff was very helpful and the rooms were clean. The price of the ... restaurants was very high, but we found reasonable places to eat within easy walking distance. We traveled with our two kids and it was a great hotel for us.

The JW Marriot on Pennsylvania Ave in Washington ,DC was a wonderful choice for my weekend get away. It was centrally ... located to stores, eateries, museums, and the Mall. My first impression on arrival to the hotel was being greeted by the Host at curbside who was exceptionally polite and service oriented. I remember thinking he loved what he does. Our room was welcoming -pleasant to the eyes, clean and most comfortable. The assistance of gentlemen at the Concierge desk were utilized each day, noting openness and a gentle unrushed manner in assisting us with reservations for dinner, researching places of interest and aiding our plans for the day. This was very helpful and much appreciated. Exiting the hotel was just as smooth and a pleasant experience. All matters were expedited in a professional and polite manner. I have already contemplated in my mind that the JW Marriot on Pennsylvania Ave will be my hotel in the future when I return to Washington, DC. Excellent My weekend in DC was a wonderful one.
