"the good, the bad, and the really ugly"
sorryman Nov 4, 2009
Very dirty. in my room the toilet was not fixed and was running constantly. The carpet in the rooms was worn out and not ... vaccumed for many years, the windows could not open, dogs hair were all over the room, the smell of cigarettes both in the rooms (supposedly non smoking) and in the Hall way. When asked to change at least the room was told that they were booked solid. It was not true. the worst experience for a hotel charged $70 per night.

Super 8 - Dickinson, ND
super8 first timer Oct 17, 2009
While the room did have an iron and ironing board, the ironing board was broken. This motel is in need of major refurbishing. ... I guess you get what you pay for. Some friends that were also staying here at the same time reported that their shower was broken. It was relatively inexpensive, and so I guess if you just need a place to sleep for a night it might be OK. However, don't expect too much.

They did have a free continental breakfast (english muffins, cereal, donuts). There are restaurants nearby.

Seeing Medora, ND was terrific. The hotel price beat anything Medora had to offer. The TV was good and the free breakfast ... was nice. We did not spend much time at the hotel. The bed could have been more comfortable and the room dusted and windows clean.

The nearby Bonanza Restaurant serves a delicious food bar. The bean soup was the best I've ever had in any restaurant.

A perfectly adequate motel
Boogie Bear Aug 13, 2009
The motel was easily accessed from I-94 and was only a very short drive from several restaurants. The room was adequate, and ... the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast nook was small and crowded. The entire facility was starting to show wear and tear, but was certainy adequate for an overnight stay.

The worst dump!
Jo Aug 9, 2009
This hotel was disgusting. The room was filthy. Not vacuumed, food left in drawers, cough syrup spilled, toilet was not ... just dirty it was so disgusting like it hadn't been cleaned in a while. The shower was dirty, cigarette burn holes in blankets and best of all were the pillows! They had huge yellow spots on them with no covers! When we complained, the manager just turned away. No other rooms were available anywhere in the city. Ended up staying in a motor home for the remainder of trip. Check out copy of receipt has a different credit card number on it, with a reduced rate. But, I booked with Orbitz, and that is the amount I am sure will be charged to my card.

The Super 8 was very comfortable and have room to move around. I like the recliner in the room along with the mirowave and ... refrigator in the room. Location of the hotel is great for shopping, going to the movies and for dining.

Shopping mall was great, along with the movie theater.
