The last minute deal was great, which included 4- movie tickets and 2-free breakfasts for a great price. The hotel first did ... not want to honor it but the great front desk representative, [...] took care of the pre-paid reservations.

Hotel was nice...colors in the room were a bit drab considering the modern updates. The halls were very noisy at night, but ... the front desk was helpful with the situation.

Not for the Winter Stay?

This hotel can cater to large groups, so be aware that your individual stay may be overwhelmed by a large group in eating and ... general hotel gathering places. Bathroom was very small. One person to be able to get in and out. The mattresses did not match the luxury of the bedding. The hotel is surrounded by a golf course and park-like grounds, so shopping and optional eating places are a several mile drive.

This hotel exceeded my expectations. The pool was great, the golf course was in excellent shape, the hotel was very clean ... and the service was very pleasant. The location was great for easy access into Chicago and to the Brookfield Zoo. Several restaurants are very close, but, I would plan ahead and make reservations if planning to go out.
