Another great experience overall. Yes, you will still need to bring soap, but the customer service we experienced was GREAT ... and so was the room. When we arrived, our room was nice, but not as described. The room was pretty clean, I like spotless, but the bed was a queen and we requested a king. We had arrived at 10pm and figured we would put in a call to the after hours line so they could take care of us in the morning. Much to my surprise, we received a call within minutes of our message and were moved within 5 minutes to a great room, much cleaner, almost spotless, with a king size bed, huge tv, just wonderful. We were thrilled not to have to repack and move in the morning. We checked in officially the next morning and they were sooo nice. We have stayed at this resort in the past, although this was a new area, and we will continue to stay at this location in the future. Great customer service and fantastic rooms. Would highly and have highly recommended it to friends.

If staying in a condo/villa, bring an empty cooler in which you can fill with the food you didn't eat and wish to bring home. Also makes for good snacking on the drive home, especially with kiddos!

We were only a 10 minute drive from Disney. I loved the condo's full kitchen and washer and dryer. It was a great place for a ... 2 week stay. A grocery store, drug store, and Walmart were a short drive away. We found a little scorpion crawling around the kitchen. That was interesting.

Florida Magic not so Magic
tabee the critic Jun 30, 2009
This is a realty office that rents privately owned condo's. The condo was not very clean. When we checked in they told us ... we had to pay a $65.00 cleaning fee because we were not staying more than two nights. This was not obvious on the orbitz website that I booked the reservation through. The condo was spacious but not very clean. No blinds in the bedroom. Morning sunshine is your wake up call. Very dissappointed in the pool. Etremely small pool and fitness facility. Not a good place for a family. For the price, we could have stayed someplace much nicer.

I was very surprised when I walked into the hotel room to see how big it was, it was a home away from home. The only thing ... that you will need to bring if your going to be doing any cooking is dish soap or dishwasher soap. I plan to stay with Florida Magic Vacations when I travel to Florida again.

Condo-Not Luxury
jblondie May 26, 2009
Condo was very close to Disney and spacious enough. Phone did not work; access code to enter did not work, so I had to hope ... someone else was entering at the same time as I was so I could enter; no light at front door and was difficult to get key into lock; internet was NOT free; Staff said "Yes, it is free but you have to pay a small charge." No kidding! I had to sign a paper saying that the place was inventoried, however they did not have an inventory to give me! I could not get the photo copy of my credit card back when I checked out!

Good and Bad
Soccer Dad May 24, 2009
A number of things got us off to a bad start.... First, the "check-in" office was hard to find, it's not on the property ... itself. Second, when we tried to check in early (about 1pm) there were no options, not even a discussion, he just rudely advised us we just had to come back at 4pm Third, when we did check-in we were told because we were there less than three days, they would add a $65 "cleaning fee"--a charge that wasn't disclosed when making the reservation Lastly, the complex we thought we were staying in (with the rest of our team) and which is the one pictured in the orbitz description, was in fact not the one we stayed in, but one a couple of miles down the road. On the plus side, it did have two rooms, two bathrooms and a living room/dining room with full kitchen and good assortment of cooking utensils, had washer/dryer in the unit, and had a one-car garage to store your car overnight. Good sized pool and gym with clean, new machines. Quiet. On the bad side, carpet was filthy (builders quality residential carpeting) and full of stains, and very el-cheapo furniture even for a rental. No tissue, and only a couple of small pieces of soap. Check out time of 10am was a little too early...especially with a 4pm check-in! Price after cleaning fee makes it not really worth it...might be more worth it if your staying a week.

Charlotte Apr 23, 2009
Overall, we were very pleased with this hotel/resort. While tucked away and not sure of the outside, the room itself was ... wonderful...very clean, spacious and accommodating. The only thing that would have made this stay more enjoyable would be a larger pool and shuttle service to Disney World/Universal Studios, etc. Otherwise, a great stay at an even better price!

Mommyof2K's Apr 22, 2009
This is the first time we have stayed in this type of unit and though there were slight glitches, the rooms were great and ... comfortable. We stayed in an Oakwater villa (#2805) during spring break. We were within walking distance to the pool which was very clean and a decent size. The only problem we had was with the large group of kids that came that needed to hang out every night outside our room window. The walls to the exterior are paper thin but I never heard any of my neighbors moving around in their unit. I did call the hotel staff but they didn't do anything and the next day the large group (and their 8 cargo vans) left. I enjoyed the screened in porch and was pleasantly suprised to find out that almost every morning hot air balloons flew overhead. All of the kitchen items we needed were there as well as extra towels. The carpets were stained and their wasn't a vacuum or broom in the unit but otherwise it was mostly clean. (NOTE TO FMV - clean your window sills behind the blinds). We had decent cable, no FoxNews, HBO or Cartoon Network but all the local basics needed besides we weren't in the room very often due to Disney being a 10 minute drive away. Target is very close as well as a nice array of restaurants. The gentleman that checked us in was very helpful and pleasant. I will stay there again if the price is right.

Spring break specialist Apr 22, 2009
This place was awesome. It was clean and nicely decorated. The location was great, only 4 miles from Disney down Hwy 192. ... The beds were the most comfortable I've ever slept in away from home. The only negative at all was the lack any cable channels for the kids and a scarcity of towels, but the full sized washer and dryer was an easy fix for that. I will totally book this place again!
