Amazing Vacation at a Good Price
Jana Aug 24, 2009
This is the least amount of money I've ever spent on a vacation and it has been the best. The Hotel was beautiful. We ... definetly got more than what we paid for. The staff in and out of hotel were very helpful and attentive. We had 3 minor problems but they werent too bad. The beds were rather small which was probably the worst of the trip. Eat at Tres Mares! The best seafood and not touristy.

Nothing Special
Just Another Traveler Jul 18, 2009
This was my second trip to Cabo. I stayed at the Marina last time and found the staff at the other hotel to be way more ... friendly and helpful when it came to simple things. It was touch and go at Pueblo Bonito Rose. You would have an amazing server one day and then the next day you wouldn't even be acknowledged. We called for ice one night and were told it would be 20 minutes and they never showed up with it. The next night our toilet stopped working and we had to wait around for an hour to have that fixed. The third night our ceiling started leaking because of the air conditioner. That was another hour spent waiting for them to come and fix it. We would leave our room and return in the evening to find that no maid service had occured. The plus was that the location allowed you to walk right out to the beach and into town. The hotel itself is beautiful, but food and drinks are not cheap.
Traveler type: Friends
If you walk the beach or around the marina you can work a deal for a cheaper dinner since there is a lot of competition. Lots of times they will throw in free drinks and so forth.

Our honeymoon was awesome and this hotel made it very enjoyable. The location was awesome. It was very convenient to be ... able to walk to downtown Cabo for dinner or to go to the shops. The staff was overall friendly and the service around the pool was attentive. The hotel has daily activities in and around the pool area which was very entertaining. The beach was pretty, but the locals trying to sell stuff too you was a little annoying. This made us camp out around the pool most days instead of on the beach. The food at the hotel restaurant and bar was satisfactory but nothing special. Also, the concierge was very helpful in locating good alternate places to eat while we were there.

Great Hotel, Great Location
Nobody May 29, 2009
Location on Medano Beach, a swimmable beach, unlike many others in Cabo. Any activities we wanted to do, whether on land or ... water, could be booked at the hotel, and picked us up at the hotel or within a 1 minute walk down the beach. Got a Mai Tai and a Strawberry Daquiri and both were horrible. The peep hole was missing from our door, so there was a small hole which we stuffed with tissue. Besides that the service was great and you cannot beat the views, grounds, etc.

Twice a year we take a family trip and Pueblo Bonito Rose was the best trip so far. The resort is SUPER clean. The entire ... staff was attentive and polite. The restaurants/food was great. The lobby had a pleasant lavender scent that filled the air. The entire staff will greet you with "Ola", We loved Pueblo Bonito Rose. The room was clean, well maintained, and very comfortable. Of all the places we have stayed, this was the only place where you ... can't get a bad meal. The food was a little pricy, but you will not regret eating at the hotel. Every one of the staff was great. Gary Nov 3, 2008
We visited Pueblo Amigo Rose for the Halloween weekend and to help my sister-in-law celebrate her 50th birthday. We invited ... her to see our hotel and she said she wished she was staying there as well, even though she was at a nice hotel, but not on the scenic and exciting Medano Beach. We enjoyed a wonderful Sunday brunch outdoors with live music and an incredible view of the bay and ocean. The Spa is wonderful for a quick & invigorating workout. Unfortunately this visit I did not schedule an actual spa appointment, but I have before and it was very relaxing and an enjoyable experience. The whole staff is very friendly and helpful!

Great stay at Pueblo Bonito Rose
Monica Oct 21, 2008
We went in October which is probably a slow season. The location is excellent, the rooms were very well mantained and the ... grounds were gorgeous. The pool is huge and in the evening it feels like a giant spa as the water is warm becuase it has been heated by the sun. Very refreshing indeed. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I am not sure if they have ocean view rooms in this property but we enjoyed the pool view. We tried some buffets, weren't too excited by the restaurant in house and we enjoyed the Cilantro Restaurant at the Blanco(their sister property next door) more. The rooms are a nice size and they have a fridge and range, so we were able to make light breakfasts. We enjoyed ordering our lunch at the deli, great chicken wrap! Don't forget to visit Cabo Wabo downtown...great niteclub!

Good location in Cabo
Lisa Sep 14, 2008
My boyfriend and I had only four days to spend in Cabo so we wanted to be near the city. Pueblo Bonito Rose (PBR) is within ... ten minutes walking distance of the marina and downtown Cabo. We walked to dinner almost every night. It was great to have a fridge in our room to keep food and drinks on hand. The pool is nice and there are great shaded canopies if you don't want to be in the sun. We didn't dine at PBR as I wasn't impressed with the restaurant selection. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, bringing a new pillow and some conditioner when I requested it, for example. We took the free Pueblo Bonito shuttle to the Pueblo Bonita Holistic Resort and Spa one afternoon. This is a gorgeous sister property of PBR and we enjoyed ourselves a lot. This child-free hotel is new and gorgeous. We had great poolside service with drinks and apps and it was handy to bill the charges to our room. I would definitely recommend PBR or any of their sister resorts in Cabo. The Pacific location of three of the properties didn't make sense for us this trip though, as we wanted to be able to walk into town.
