Beyond the lighthearted decor, the menu is decidedly serious - a blend of the Maccioni matriarch Egidiana's traditional home cooking and seasonal, ingredient-driven cuisine. The spirited menu veers from lusty appetizers and pastas to rotisserie dishes and beef and seafood entrees. Pastry Chef Gregory Gourreau's irresistible desserts have been acclaimed as "Best in Las Vegas" by LasVegas Life Magazine.
The Light Group, Las Vegas’ premier hospitality and lifestyle development organization, raises its culinary portfolio once again with the addition of Yellowtail Sushi Restaurant & Bar at Bellagio. Yellowtail’s traditional and modern Japanese cuisine sets a new standard for fine-dining.
From the expansive display of noodle-filled apothecary jars to the lavish use of gilt and polished marble, designer Tony Chi's striking design for Noodles is sleek, modern and inspired. For over a quarter century, Le Cirque has remained the gustatory temple at the epicenter of New York's social, business and power dining scenes. Ringmaster Sirio Maccioni, long recognized as the "world's most charismatic restaurateur," brought his Four-Star culinary magic to the Las Vegas Strip with the opening of Bellagio. Perched astride an eight-acre lake filled with dancing fountains, Le Cirque is a whimsical jewel box of color and detail, from the star-studded entry of polished woods to the sumptuous, swooping silk-tented ceiling.
Set in the Conservatory & Botanical Gardens and offering views of shimmering pools, Michael Mina radiates luxury. Awash in soft neutral tones, polished rare woods and sprays of fresh flowers, the room brims with sophisticated modern charm. Specialties include Caviar Parfait, Tartare of Ahi Tuna with Scotch Bonnet Chile Oil, Miso-Glazed Chilean Sea Bass and Lobster Potpie.
Chef Philip Lo, an originator of nouvelle Hong Kong cuisine, creates contemporary and classic Cantonese, Szechuan and Hunan dishes, as well as live seafood specialties. Specialties include Maine Lobster Dumplings with Ginger Sauce; Minced Squab in Lettuce Petals; Crystal Florida Stone Crab Claws; Garlic Beef Tenderloin, and Imperial Peking Duck. Soaring cove ceilings, intimate nooks and great bursts of flowers make Picasso a dream of country elegance. Here, master Chef Julian Serrano's French-Mediterranean cuisine takes flight in a room that boasts an awesome profusion of original Picasso oils and ceramics. The first Las Vegas chef to be honored with the James Beard Award for "Best Chef, Southwest," Serrano showcases his ingredient-driven, seasonal cuisine in two masterful menus: a four-course tasting menu and a five-course Chef's Degustation. Picasso is the proud recipient of the AAA Five Diamond Award of Excellence for 2002, 2003 and 2004. In addition, surveyors in the 2002 Zagat Las Vegas Restaurant Survey voted Picasso "Most Popular Restaurant" in Las Vegas.
The inventive menu of flatbread pizzas, housemade pastas, rotisserie dishes and flame-licked seafood and meats reads like a tour of the Riviera coastline. This is the place. Get a glimpse at the way the rich and famous shop and play. Nothing the average person could afford ... (everything on the strip is expensive), but fun to look. Hotel is in a great location. Spectacular view of the Eifel Tower and fountains from our room. Well appointed room with extremely comfortable bed. Everything was top shelf. Don't miss the Cirque du Soleil show "O" at the Bellagio--worth every penny.

Tickets for Vegas entertainment shows are very costly. We saved a lot by using the 1/2 price ticket places which are available on the new Strip. One can avoid the long lines at these places if the desired shows are planned ahead of time and then use the VIP entrance to obtain new tickets (plus a couple of dollars off the discounted price).

Excellent service, friendly staff, good food, good location on the Strip. There were two things missing that would have made ... the trip more enjoyable: coffee pot in the room (!!) and "guides" for first-time casino spenders. (such helpful people were not easy to find at any casino except Planet Hollywood) I will return to this great hotel!

We had a great time, was very busy due to all the events going on in Las Vegas which we did not know when we booked it. They ... did ask to conserve on towels we did as they ask and they still changed the towels everyday. Do NOT even look at the items in the refrigerator or plan on paying for them once they are removed just for review your room is charged.

Jan, therapist in need of vacation Dec 7, 2009
Smoke from the casino got a bit much; however, any other issues were small and were dealt with quickly and professionally. ... We found the service at all levels to be consistently excellant. Location made getting around very easy which was a bonus since we stayed so busy. The show we saw were great...the best of the best and not to be missed was "O", performed at the Bellagio. Our suite overlooked Red Rock Canyon which was beautiful and made our 5 hour WOW horseback ride there even more special. The best thing I can say as a testimonial is that we plan to return in early November of 2010 to both repeat and fine tune our experience in Las Vegas.

Depending on where you are staying, a trip to the Venetian Hotel may be a short walk, or a short drive/bus ride(on the Deuce). Whatever the distance, it is a worthwhile trip to see "The Phantom of the Opera" there. Even if you have seen this show before, you should go see it at the Venetian! The theater was built especially for this show (approx. $96 million), and as a result they have created an experience like no other production of this classic Broadway show. Not to be missed-!

1) Shopping is great in Vegas. If you're a guy or lady that works out and has a muscular frame Vegas is the place that you'll be able to find clothes that fit and fit without being too tight or look like you had to buy your clothes at a big and tall shoppe. There are stores in the Bellagio as well as a mall across the street. The prices are no more than you would pay at your local stores. The selection is far greater. 2) DO NOT RENT A CAR UNLESS YOU FEEL YOU HAVE TO HAVE A CAR!!!! Vegas traffic is off the chain crazy. The taxi drivers there are former suicide bombers that decided that they wanted to live. They needed jobs and the taxi company way hiring. I want to see everyone return home alive. DON'T DRIVE IN VEGAS!!! 3) The food in the Bellagio is good but expensive for the portions that you get. There are many places to eat in Vegas that you can get more for your buck. Do some resturant research before you go.
--Bryan "Big B" Kelly, Mansfield, Texas Nov 30, 2009
When in Vegas, if you're looking for a show to go to and have not purchased tickets find one of the half-price ticket stands and get tickets there. Great seats for half the price.
--Jenn & Paula, Pittsburgh, PA Nov 29, 2009
You must see the Cirque D Soliel's production of EAU. Even though it is expensive (about $170 per person), it is truly worth every single cent. I have never been so continuously entertained over a 75 minute period as I was on this. Every aspect, from the lighting, the sound, the acrobats, the performance, the flow, the sets, EVERYTHING was beyond belief.
--Charles, San Francisco Nov 25, 2009
Pre-purchase your tickets to the "O" show if you chose to see it otherwise, you will have to wait in long lines to purchase it at the hotel and you won't get a good price either.
