The location was great and the room appeared clean, however I suffered from bed bug bites, when I informed the management ... they said they would check the room and get back to me. They also implied that the bugs came from the plane and not the room. They never got back to me. Very dissappointed with the hotel and will not stay there on my next trip!

The hotel was great. Check in and check out were easy and quick. Right away the woman at the desk changed our room from one ... king bed to two doubles. They were also very helpful in getting us back to the airport. The hotel was a little farther from times square than expected, but that was only a problem when it was late at night and I was too tired to move! :D

The New York Pass. This is great for anyone who wants to do a lot of tourist attractions. Pretty much everything you would want to see is included. You buy based on number of days, so its tailored to your vacation. I got the 3 day pass and visited top of the rock, nbc tour, radio city music hall tour, empire state building, rock and roll hall of fame annex, liberty and ellis island, madam tussauds. Probably save about $50. It was great!

This was a nice enough hotel. The staff was super nice and very helpful whenever we needed anything. The heater in the room ... though never cut off and the fan was very loud. The room was very small and the noise did get annoying after a while. But, overall I would give this hotel a 4 because of the helpfulness and kindness of the staff.

A Break From Tradition

Overall, it was an enjoyable stay. Hit a big snag the first night when our rooms were not available. Housekeeping staff was ... off for holiday and we had to wait until 2 am to get into our room. But, we had a great view of the Empire State Bldg and the hotel accomodated us for the mess up. The street area was a little "sketch" at night, but we expected that. Just be alert!

It was my first trip to NY City, and my familiarity with this hotel company made me feel more at ease with my stay. I was ... there on business, but the experience was also a pleasure. We could have used a bit more help finding eating spots, but the room was clean and quiet. May I make the suggestion of having more variety for the breakfast offerings. Such as more fruit variety. Granola for the yogart, a second egg choice (without cheese, with salsa on the side),and one flavored coffee.

Hotel is convenient to Macy's parade, Times Square, and 34th Street shopping. Walking anywhere is easy! Staff is VERY ... accommodating and helpful, especially the concierge, offered help with theatre tickets and any other NYC attractions. Rooms are small but comfortable and well equipped---nice towels. Great to have business center to print boarding passes. We had a fabulous stay here!

Let the hotel get you a car to the airport. By the time you pay a taxi driver, who may or may not take you the "long way", the valet can get a car for you that is reserved at a reasonable price. Especially good for early morning flights.

Room was small, but adequate for a few days. Staff were very nice. We had a blast. Thanks Holiday Inn.
