Your best bet for a little privacy is to find an out-of-the-way garden walk such as le Parc des Buttes-Chaumont, the Promenade Plantée or the Allee de Cygnes. If stunning sunsets are the key ingredient for love, San Francisco will get you cooking. Snuggle atop the Golden Gate Bridge, the Coit Tower, or on one of the Twin Peaks. Or move your party of two down the road, perhaps through the Marin Headlands or Muir Woods. And a taste of the grape never hurts-especially when coupled with the Napa Valley's spas and restaurants. Getting around can be just as enjoyable, whether you're sailing, snorkeling, on a Jeep safari, or on horseback. Explore the California Lighthouse and the rock formations of magnificent Arikok National Park-or stay in your room and treat yourself to breakfast in bed, in-room massages, and champagne on the balcony.

Aruba travel

Known for its lush beauty and impressive friendliness, St. Lucia is an unspoiled tropical paradise-the perfect place for pitching woo. If you're feeling energetic, spend some time hiking in the island's lovely rainforest or around its impressive volcano. Of course there'll still be plenty of time for swimming, sailing, or just chilling on the beach. And if you don't feel like leaving your room at the end of a full day, hire a chef to come prepare dinner right there in your suite.

St. Lucia travel

Venice is ripe with enchantment and romance. Of course, during the summer it's also packed with tourists, and the canals become a bit over-ripe. And be sure to visit Playa del Amor (Love Beach), the gorgeous and alluring point where the Sea of Cortez meets the Pacific Ocean.

Cabo San Lucas travel

If all your love needs to bloom is a little Southern Gothic atmosphere, then Savannah will deliver. Drink in the cobblestone streets and enchanting garden walks-all soaked in a haunting air of mystery and beauty. You can stroll along the waterfront docks, take a carriage tour, go antiquing, or just eat your fill of oysters on Tybee Island. You'll definitely want to stay in one of the city's many charming bed and breakfasts-and for getting around during your stay, consider renting bicycles.

Savannah travel

Whether or not you and your partner ski, Breckenridge offers romantic fun all year round-not to mention jaw-dropping mountain views. In the winter there's a variety of après for the skiers, plenty of fantastic dining options, and an impressive number of hot tubs per capita. Summer in Breckenridge brings refreshingly pleasant temperatures-warm (but not hot) weather during the days for hiking and picnics and cool evenings that are perfect for cuddling and/or snuggling.
