What is RSS?

Don't be put off by the acronym. It's short for Really Simple Syndication, and it's a fast, efficient Web tool that lets you collect your favorite Web content -- including Orbitz' latest travel deals -- in one place. Think of it as an inbox for your favorite web content; instead of surfing for deals or waiting for our weekly e-mails, you'll have up-to-the-minute, personalized info right at your fingertips.

What does Orbitz offer through RSS?

We show you airfares, hotel and car rental rates, cruise deals, and flight + hotel bargains for top airports and destinations. So you can get frequent updates on flights from your home airport or for vacations to that sunny destination you've been dreaming about.

How do I access RSS?

First, you'll need an RSS reader. Some readers, like Pluck and Sage, can be installed on your desktop to work with your Web browser. Others, like Newsgator, Bloglines, and Google Reader, are Web-based readers, so you don't have to download anything. Some popular Web portals like My Yahoo! also work as RSS readers.

How do I get Orbitz RSS feeds?

Simply click the "+ RSS FEED" button next to any feed, click on your RSS reader of choice, and you?re ready to go! For other RSS readers, click "[view xml]", and copy the page?s URL from your browser into the reader to start a new subscription.

Will RSS cost me anything?

You can sign up for and download most readers without any charge.
